Title: How much would YOU pay for the Zelda Trailer on a DS card?
Post by: joshnickerson on May 23, 2005, 02:12:09 PM
They've been all over eBay since last week, and most auctions for the card only end at around $80 (auctions that include the press kit end at about $100). That's a bit insane, to say the least. How much would you pay max for it? I'd see myself going as high as possibly $20, just for the coolness factor. But anything higher is just a bit much.

If I wanted to watch movies on my portable I'd buy a PSP...But because I don't, I'm happy with the trailer I have on my computer and I'll be happy with the DVD I'll be getting from Nintendo Power soon enough...

How about, I'd pre-order a DS game early for it as a bonus? Anything else is too much for me.

Or pre-order Zelda and get it as a premium. I'd pay $10-$15 I guess, but only because its potentially collectable. If they were in retail stores for that I wouldn't get it

Maybe about five bucks, simply for collecting. Also, I could say "I was at E3!" and people would believe me.

People go too crazy over these "limited" collectables.
For all we know, Nintendo might start giving these things away again as part of a My Nintendo promotion.
"Twilight Princess is coming out and will blow you away. So we're giving away it's E3 trailer, playable on a DS cart, to loyal Zelda fans who've got The Wind Waker, Four Swords Adventures, and The Minish Cap, all registered with us."
I'd pay five bucks for one. And I'd hold out for a seller that's not trying to rip me off on the shipping costs.
