Title: I have some Rev. Questions

First, was the controller concept ever shown? I am curious, because I haven't seen anything more than fan mockups Second, Does anyone like that the Rev. is going to be released in a multitude of colors? I think that it should simply be in black or silver, especially if it is going to be a dvd player (I don't like the idea of a pink dvd player).

No controller has been shown... yet.
Why does allowing someone else to buy a pink dvd player harm your ability to buy a black one?

It'll most likely come in one colour with more to follow. Iwata said they wanted feedback from the journalists and readers on the colours, so it isn't final.

Jason, I am not saying that it would hinder my ability to buy a black one. I am seeing it from a business perspective. They should really only release it in one or two colors (black and silver), as the others are kinda kiddish. THat is what hurt GC, because it was released in purple.

I think what hurt the GC was that Indigo (not purple foos) was the flagship color, not that it was an option. Can never have enough options. All the pics I've seen of the Rev indicate Nintendo is open to launching with several colors so far, but hasn't decided on what those colors will be.
I want the red.

Yeah communist red should be the only colour Revolution comes in. Anyway colour suggestions I have are translucent white (think snow iMac) and a an electroplated chome one, you know, reflective. That'd rock. Fake woodpanel would be great for a real retro look.

I would like clear or something similar, and maybe something akin to the GBASP cobalt.
Aww hwo am I kiding, Im just going to get the black one because I always get the flag ship color.
Yes I own both an indigo GBA and GCN.
They are not purple.

I've got an Indigo cube and an indigo GBA. I've also got an imported spice GBA.

I think black looked the classiest, the most like it was an expensive piece of hardware, which is important from a psychological perspective. However, I also really liked the metallic red revolution. When I had a SP it too was red. Now I have a shiny silver DS. :-)

Nintendo will release the Revolution in only one color because of the image problems it has had with the gamecube; probably black. I say probably black because both Sony and Microsoft's consoles appear to be coming out in white or some variation and Nintendo will want to distinguish themselves, but this is only a guess.
