Are the multiple schemes similar in nature to Hunters?

Cool. Hopefully it has some fun modes and not just regular deathmatch

At least it's nice to know the multiplayer won't suck.
Now let's hope the 1 player mode doesn't suck. (i.e. too short, crappy AI, ect.)

but with hunters you had one gun now you dual wield, so do both guns go off with the "R" trigger or do each one have a separate button?

I'd expect there to be limits to what he's allowed to reveal. Namely an NDA. Surprises me this isn't already a breach.

I just read that both L and R need to be used in this game and they do different things (fire different weapons or something) and because of that you can't really use the stylus, you need to use the thumb strap. I hate the thumb strap so if i'm forced to use it I don't think i'll get this game.
But then again the stylus gets really tiring after only 10 minutes of playing, I think I might try and practice using the thumb strap again... even though I hate it.
This is why I prefer games like Wario Ware Touched, I can put the DS down on a desk and poke away comfortably.

I thought the same thing, Mario. Why do they have to map to both the L and R buttons (I know IGN said that they can be "linked" to one button, but its not the same)? Why can't EA just make good decisions with their games. I want to use the stylus.

How are you going to use those various functions when you don't have enough buttons?

IGN has a preview of this game up as well...it is very configurable in terms of controls (inversion, sensitivity settings, etc). You can also tie the dual wielding fire option to one button, for those who cant abide the strap...so theres a fix for most everyone.

I've seen the videos, and I must say, I'm impressed. Looks like EA actually put some effort into this one...

It sounds like they used 5 year old Billy to produce the sound.
>_<

Fixed. ;-)
I still think it will suck.

You CAN use the stylus... If you're talking about using the stylus AND having two different trigger buttons, well that's not EA's fault. I don't think any developer could fix that.

You mock Billy now, but just wait till he turns 10. We'll see who is laughing then.
