Title: How do I see previous topics not immediately listed?
Post by: Gamebasher on April 18, 2005, 07:42:59 AM
I just experienced the strict enforcement of PGC staff, when I posted a topic which was deemed to be out of date as the nature of the topic was apparently already discussed two weeks ago on the Forum. But I fail complete to find that topic two weeks ago as I cannot find a way to go back to say thse two weeks or month or longer back.
Thee used to be a clickable menu line where you could choose how far back you wanted to view topics until a a certain number of months of previously topics in all the forums. But I can´t find it anymore, and KDR11K says it has something to do with my threshold beng too low. But also here I am lost. When entering the profile, I find no way to set such parameters.
Is there anyone who would be so kind to tell me how I view those past topics?

If you promise not to resurrect dead topics, I'll tell you.

Under your Profile section, select "Personal Options" (yellow folder with a red Easter Island head). Your first option there is "I would like to see the last XX days of topics when I enter a category." I'm guessing XX is very small if you can't view topics older than two weeks. Make it bigger.

Kingvudu, a big THANKS to you for telling me how to see the past months many topics and replies. And Hostile Creation, yes that´s a promise: I won´t (at least I will try harder now) resurrect dead topics.
Unbelievable, that I just couldn´t see that "Personal Options", button. But I guess it was just so all over the place there that it got too big for me to see it.
Thanks again. It REALLY is great to be able to view ALL of the topics from all the months past and stay informed.
