Title: Colin McRae Rally 3....?

Just wondering if anyone else is/was looking forward to this game?

I know that's it's officially meant to be coming to GameCube, but months have passed since both the PS2 and xbox releases, and yet not one single GCN screen.

Am I unaware that it's been cancelled or what? Can PGC dig anything up?

I went digging a while ago. Well, actually not digging. I just bugged the hell out of Codemasters until they answered me.

It's not going to happen. Because of Colin McRae's teamchange. You might be aware of that he have changed to the Citroen team in the time that was between the original release of the game and now. So.. not going to happen. I'm not lying.

We'll probably see CMR4 though.

Yeah, I know he changed teams to Citreon, so that made me think about Codemasters cancelling the GCN version.
But still, the game isn't available in the US, so why not cancel those too?

Cancel which what? PS2 version of CMR3, you mean.. or? That one is already done. So that's in the box. As far as what they told me they hadn't even started porting it when it was called off. You're talking about a version that is widely available in one region vs. one that isn't done. It's a whole other thing. If that was what you meant at least. *shrugs*

Thats a shame, CMR is very popular in europe and could help boost sales!
