I just noticed this whacky peripheral on gamebiz. A DS handcharger that allows you to manually charge your ds battery. 3mins of turning the wheel equates to an extra 20mins of playtime awesome.
I hope this is a good sign of things to come for the ds!!

Japanese people are weird. They should make it harder to twist for more overall power, though. I'd like to get about an hour for five minutes of twistin'.

I think that'd increase friction and make your arms tire faster for the same amount of power generated.

Nintendo should advertise it as a special "Micro-Game", complete with the word "TWIST!" flashing in front of you when you attach it.

Thats some crazy stuff. So if I wanted to get an hours worth of play id have to twist that thing for nine minutes. Doesnt seem like much but nine minutes of twistin'.....maybe for someone who's really desperate.

Foolish - I doubt you could twist for 9 minutes and get an hour's worth of power. The charger has a limited capacity. I'm guessing you'd have to twist for three minutes, three different times at twenty minute intervals.

The point would be more energy expended but less time to do so. Like foolish said, that's a long time to twist. You'd get stronger and get more energy into the system within less time if there were more friction.
