Title: Trading on these boards...

I'd like to know...

I know that pure SPAM ("Look at my auction" or "Buy my stuff") posts are not allowed here, but are any kind of "I'm looking for..." type posts allowed?

I ask because I know there are quite a few Aussies on these boards and I *really* would like to get ahold of the e-Reader cards in Pokémon Channel and I'd like to see if someone can help me out... But I don't want to cause mass panic by posting something that's not allowed...

And has there been given any thought to a Barter Board here?  Buy/Sell/Trade any video game related merchandise?

In the past they've alwasy treated these types of convos as PM only type things.  If they had a trading section of the boards there would most likely be some shmuck who rips someone off.  Then the ripoffee would probably blame PGC and it would be an annoying mess.  I bet they wouldn't have a problem with you making a post about how much you like the Pokemon Channel e-cards and if anyone wants to throw a PM your way that'd be nice...

Of course..you prolly just want to wait until a mod replies to this... =P

I wouldn't think that'd be a problem as long as PGC put a disclaimer up... many sites have trading boards on 'em...

And, at least, with a trading board, it'd be easier to post about bad traders than if the trades only took place via PMs...
