Title: DS External Battery Pack?
Post by: Domonlord on January 25, 2005, 09:15:42 PM
I'm about to go out of country into Europe and Asia and it'll be hard to bring a power adaptor to every place I go as some rural areas won't have electricity. Are there any places that sell external batter packs that run off AA/AAA batteries or Li-Ion?

I don't have a clue (I'd check Play Asia), but I do remember some kind of Hand-Crank that you could hook into the GBASP (and, therefore, the DS, I'd assume) that you would just turn like a pencil sharpner to charge your battery...  LIke 15 mins of turning was supposed to give about an hour's worth of play (I think)...

I bought this battery pack thingy just an hour ago:

CLICKY

It comes with a screw driver and u can put ur old battery in it too. Together = 20 hours of gaming. Well that's what they say anyway...  U could also buy some more Li-on batteries with it cuz it's really easy to change them when you put that thing on ur DS.

But maybe this is a cheaper option:

CLICKY!

Needs 4 AAA batteries to play 9,5 hours without light and 7 with light.
