Title: Animal Crossing: Moving Town Data
Post by: jfreed on December 30, 2004, 06:21:13 AM
My 9 year old rented this game and saved his town data to a memory card. Now he got the game for Christmas and wants to move his town data onto the memory card that came with the game (and has a present? on it), but the system won't allow him to "move" his "town data" to the other card. Since he is frustrated and I'm a parent who knows nothing about this, can anyone help?

If the other memory card doesn't have enough blocks it might not work.  He doesn't have to move the data onto the other memory card, he can use that memory card for something else as well.

Have you tried to move the present to the old memory card with the town data on it?   That way you would have the present and the town data on one card, and as posted above, you can use the card that came with the game for something else.

You cannot move Animal Crossing Data to another mem. card.
