Pretty cool.  Are you suggesting that we're going to get to play DS and chat with people on plane rides?  Cuz that'd be awesome.

I read that same story.  What I'm a little worried about it the moron sitting next to me (in addition to the other 200 morons on the plane) yelling into his cell phone for the entire three hour flight from Chicago to Austin.

My dad owns an aircraft parts Repair shop, and he said its going to allow wireless internet for a charge, cell phones will be allowed again, because they dont really affect the plane at all, and bluetooth and DS wireless was and still is alwayse allowed.

Yes!  Also, not only that, play against ppl on the ground too! (Assuming Nintendo gets the online thing going).

Well, luckly, today's anouncement doesn't include cell phones, those are still banned.  However, with connection to the ground you could still use Voice over IP or similar to talk to others.  (Where there's a market there's a way)

A lot of people are getting the impression that this announcement allows cell phones, it does not.  However, I can see a lot of people trying to use their cell phones on planes claiming "they heard about it on the news".
