Title: Does the Nintendo DS hook up to the GC ?
Post by: StrainX on December 11, 2004, 09:30:59 AM
I never thought about it until now, and actually don't remember reading anything about it, but knowing that linking between the GBA games and GC games are important, and the DS does have backwards compatability. But does it actually have the capability to take current GBA to NGC link cable ?

Linking GBA and GC games is completely un-important.

But no.

Even though you know that some third party's gonna release a peripheral to make it work in the next like four months.

Considering that GBA games don't take advantage of the wireless functions on DS, I think Nintendo is steering clear of this.  If they wanted DS to hook up to the GameCube, there's more of a chance they would have developed the wireless tech to be compatible with GBA games.
