Title: Get a FREE Nintendo DS!
Post by: UncleBob on December 03, 2004, 05:16:35 AM
By clicking one of the random ads that keep showing up at the top and/or right of the screen...
Wasn't there threads that were getting locked for these kinds of schemes?

Just remember that PGC doesn't control what ads show up on the site.

Are you kidding? I've seen more "Free DS" ads while browsing the forums than I've seen threads for free DSes (?)....
Not that I care at all... I just found it amusing.

Nothing is free.
The ones who makes the consoles must pay, and the ones who want´s to play must pay. It´s that simple.
Why does somebody post such a topic?

There are scams that advertise "Free X" where X is a DS or an iPod or a 23" TFT or whatever. I think they involve a pyramid scheme in which you have to make a number of people subscribe to a spam mailing list to get your "free" X. Kinda like a deal with the devil, sell your soul and that of n other people to gain access to all worldly pleasures you can imagine! Well, actually I think the devil offers the better deal here.
