Title: Memo ability!?!?!?

This is something I'm really curious about, if they are going to add the ability to make memos and keep calendar dates on the DS? It's only a tiny more programing that they would already have to do...they could even make a cartridge that could store the information and make it a so called "game" It would just greatly help if they made it so the DS could amost work as an organizer too. If they have this option I know what I'll be getting for christmas.. PLEASE NINTENDO!!! ADD MEMO ABILITY!!!

Yep...developers automatically see a touch screen and decide to turn give it a PDA app...Summisoft has Organizer Plus scheduled for release (release date TBA). That's the only one I could find, but I was near positive there were two. Don't be expecting it before summer 2005, though.

what they need to do is make a GBA game for that PDA crap so DS users wont have to change games on the go when they need to check their schedules

well, the GBA cart would need to have access to the touch screen. One of the main reason the DS is more suited to this kind of app is that you don't have to use the cross pad to pick out each and every letter.

very good point; I always thought that the GBA games could access the touchscreen if developers wanted them to

Letting GBA games access the Touch Screen and othen non-GBA features would probably have made pirating a big issue from the get-go, since many people already have GBA flash carts. I sort of hope someone figures out how to access extra system RAM via the GBA cart, so I can play larger NES games with the GBA Movie Player.
