Title: GBASP Batteries in the DS?

Just wondering if the battery from the GBASP will fit into the DS... anyone have a clue?

lik-sang will have theirs open probably 2 days after the japnese launch, so you're lookin at a 2 week wait, i'd guess

Well...the DS is clearly based off the SP in design and such, being the exact same width, with the same plug for the charger...
But the DS battery has around the same play time as the GBA battery did, but this time it will be supporting two fully backlit screens plus a more powerful processor...
So, I'd say no. It might be the same size or some such, but I would reckon they are completley different batteries.
