Title: Konami full of BS

Konami has stated that the reason it did not support Silicon Knight's remake of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes was because it would draw attention away from their upcoming release of Metal Gear Solid 3. MGS:TTS launched in March and MGS3 is scheduled to lauched in December, nearly a year away. As if that wasn't ridiculous enough, Konami has proved themselves to be hypocrites by scheduling the release of both MGS3 and the PSP's Metal Gear: Acid for December 16th. 2004. The same day.

What do you want to boycott? Unless the PS2 is your main console I cannot see much to boycott.

The only thing Konami makes I want now anyways is Castlevania and they have already "planned" on supporting NDS with Castlevania. Hopefully it will be a step ahead in the series instead of the gargantuan leap backwards they did with Lament.

While I do agree that this is total BS, boycotting third parties is silly because it would only encourage them to stay further away from Nintendo. I give a big boo to Konami, but I'll still buy Goemon on DS.

Konami were obviously hurt over us all avoiding their absolute trash on N64. "Oooh, not buying 'G.A.S.P' and 'Castlevania 64 Part II: Oops we should of put this extra crap in the first one' eh? Well SCREW NINTENDO! LOL WE'RE AWESOME!"

Castlevania64s were great. Death had GIANT FISHIES FROM THE UNDERWORLD WHO SWIM IN OUR DIMENSION TO SCREAM AT YOU THEN EXIT.

I thought the Castlevania 64 games were good too, but I think Infernal Monkey has a point about them releasing a second game that was basically everything from the firstgame plus extra stuff that should have been there in the first place. Also, the Goemon games on the N64 were awesome, especially the second one.

Yeah, Goemon 2 on N64 was a fantastic game. I think the lack of English dubbing and 'oh noes it's 2D platforming' scared lots of people away though. "TO THE HILLS!"

The continue screen when you get a Game Over in Goemon 2 is FRIGHTENING. MAMA NO! I never want to fail at the game because I'm afraid of the screen. Good way to make you play carefully.
