Tired of playing Xbox, i decided to gve gamecube a try.
I picked one up yesterday at a local gamestop store.
$99 dollars got me a gamecube with a game free(Metroid prime.)
I bought a memory card and Animal crossing($20) Sonic adventure DX($20) The legend of Zelda: the wind waker($20) NBA Live 2005($40)
So far i am loving it.
What other games do you guys recommend?

Glad you considered getting a GC, but you should also consider forum courtesy...Particularly by checking for similar topics to the question you want answered...

Awesome!
Those games are great, but now you need Viewtiful Joe, Pikmin and Pikmin 2. Also, Metroid Prime 2 is out very soon, you should pick up that if you love Metroid Prime.
Super Smash Bros Melee, Super Mario Sunshine, and F-Zero GX are also highly recommended, and there are plenty more awesome games but I recommend those ones off the top of my head.

Perhaps you should be a little more considerate. The thread you pointed to is from February 2003. We are in October 2004, i am sure there are many games out now that weren't on at the time of that thread.

YOU should note the last time someone posted in it, which was today...Since you are so far behind in games you should consider catching up on the games that were released years ago ANYWAY...The thread is constantly updated and it's there for new GC owners like you to post in and not waste space with redundant topics...

Thanks for your help Bill(NOT!)
I will look at that thread, thanks for pointing it out. But, if this thread bothers you so much, why keep posting in it?
I think someone needs a hug(((((hug)))))

Jesus, NYOzzy. Bill's trying to help you and you have a spaz. The thread may be old, but it prevents a slew of pointless new ones, like this.
"I GOT GAMECUBE, I FAIL AT READING REVIEWS AND MAKING UP MY OWN MIND. ADVICE PLZ"

For the sake of not having an argument over such things, i will leave it as is.
I am new to this forum and i admit i did not use the search feature, which could have been recommended without insulting my forum etiquette( big freaking deal!)
Thanks for your help and advise Mario.

Because I feel it's my responsibility as a vet here to teach the new guys the rules...
(I also meant absolutely no harm in either of my posts, nor do I believe they were insulting...If you took them as such I apologize)

Though you're going to look at the new thread, I'm going to put in my two cents here, too.
All of Mario's suggestions are excellent. If you have a Gameboy and have some friends with Gameboys, I definitely recommend Legend of Zelda: Four Swords (though I own it and I played the whole way through on one player and still had a blast). Super Monkeyball is really fun, and while I haven't played the second one, it's probably an improvement on the first. Sonic Mega Collection (compilation of old sonic games on one disc) is cool. Mario Kart: Double Dash and Kirby Air Ride are both fun racing games, especially for multiplayer (F-Zero GX has a mediocre multiplayer, but is excellent and challenging as a one player game). Super Mario Sunshine is a great game, too.
