Post by: bjeong1381 on October 02, 2004, 08:50:22 AM
I can find the Panasonic Q Gameboy Player? I just got my Q but I want a gameboy player. I haven't been able to find one online and my local import shop doesn't have it. Ebay had one but it is over now. Please help me out if you guys can.

So the Q won't take the regular GB Player? Well you know in the beginning I rather pay that extra $100 for a GBASP. Now you have GBASP at $80.

The Q gameboy player is a rare commodity. They manufactured it from about 4 months in japan. I ordered mien from Lik-Sang on month 3 and then got a very disappointed email saying that they couldn't fill it. So, all I really have to say to you is, good luck. I've been looking for a while as well.

As I said before... but I guess you don't have to take my word for it. If you don't find it on ebay, you will NOT find one...

Holy christ....wayyy too much money...
I have a feeling if you ordered that you'd get an email saying... "Sorry that item isn't actually in stock" I got that message several times when I tried to order one.

Well, like I said, it's pricey... But I guess it depends on how bad you want it...
I do wonder if they actually have it in stock... I saw some items on their site that they said were out of stock and they said to e-mail 'em for infomation... but this one doesn't have that, so who knows?

Don't buy from them. I tried ordering Shenmue II (UK DC) a while back and never got a response. I tried emailing them about it, never got a response.
What kind of business is that? (GRRRR)

God, reading all those things I can't believe how many people just give up and take the loss. DON'T EVER DO THAT! Most credit card companies have built in fraud protection. Just send them a letter with a bunch of proof of the order...they will give you your money back and then go after the company themselves... Its actually quite painless.

You were seriously gonna pay 100 dollars for the gameboy player? Just buy an SP man....be done with it.

heh or another gamecube for that matter. That plus the player has to be almost as much as the other thing with shipping.

The Q Game Boy Player is LUDICROUSLY expensive. I've only ever seen one on eBay, and that was a Buy It Now auction for around US$500. YES.
Seriously, give it up - it's a lost cause. Besides, the things look damn ugly. If you really need to play GBA games on your TV, I'd recommend either that third-party thing that goes in the Cube's memory card slot, or a Cube and a Game Boy Player. You can still buy them bundled, can't you?
