just read an article at IGN that states a new POSSIBLE feature for the DS. VoIP,
ds.ign.com/articles/blah blah blah
hahaha! now all we need is nation wide WiMax and i will be one happy gamer.

I hope nintendo finds a way to control when and when not people can talk, because if it turns out anything like xbox live parents won't let their kids play witht the headset and nintendo doesn't want that to happen.
