Title: Soundtrack for Burnout 3
Post by: joeamis on August 23, 2004, 10:03:08 PM
More songs than any other EA title since 2002. Yet, not one song I know of... And barely any bands I've heard. Guess I just don't like most new music? Or is this soundtrack the pits? Burnout 3 ST

Actually, there's quite alot of rawkin' stuff in there. Still, I find it a tad depressing that it'll have no original music in there at all. Burnout 2's music was bloody awesome stuff.

Yeah, there's a whole lot of good guitar riffs in there. Finger Eleven, The Bouncing Souls, New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World and Franz Ferdinand are some of the bands that I have heard of (and enjoy listening to), and that gets the thumbs up from me. Makes me want this game even more now >____< Burnout 2 had some awesome music too, especially the title track...
EDIT: There's a band called "Donots" in there. Teehee.

Well "Lazy Generation" is a goshdarned awful song apparently, so I'm sure the rest will suck just as hard. They better properly support custom soundtracks.
And no menu bugs, please. I don't want to untick these songs every time I load a replay. :¬]

The Donots are actually a really awesome so-cal sounding punk band from Germany.
music elitism in this thread will result in banning

What about video game elitism?
EA sucks. ;¬]

What constitutes music elitism? Is that like the guy on my college radio station who says that Modest Mouse is SOOO ripping off the Pixies? Then he takes a sip off his imported beer and congratulates himself for knowing everything?
Edit: Hey, this is totally off-topic! I hope, although it's beyond hope, that we will get our own version of Burnout 3 sans online, like we will with Mortal Kombat.

The best part is it doesn't matter on Xbox, cause I'll just rip my own songs.

I don't know about you guys, but I think what EA is doing with this whole Trax thing is awesome. I don't know of all the bands, that is for sure, but what I do know, I really like. If EA keeps this up, I might actually buy a game of theirs. (I've kept clean thus far)
