Title: Zoonami and Game Zero
Post by: notic on August 15, 2004, 11:40:55 AM
Martin Hollis (the lead director for Goldeneye/Perfect Dark) has started a company in the UK called Zoonami after he left Rare and has been working on a game that was codenamed Game Zero. The only thing I can get about the game is that it's been in development since 2000 and GamePro said it will be a 3rd person action game. Also Fear is another one being co-developed by Nintendo and even Nintendo's secret weapon is involved (Shigeru Miyamoto).
Game Zero could be big.

Old news...Really old...Game Zero won't come out this gen so there's no real point in discussing it...

It's just for people who never heard of it. Good for you that you knew already cus I just recently heard about Fear.

I wonder if Martin Hollis is going to help Nintendo work on Revolution, like he helped with Nintendo making the Dolphin/Gamecube.

"Geist" WAS "Fear." It had a name change. Again, it's old news.

Geist is made by N-space not Zoonami.

There's hardly been a peep said about Game Zero for a long time. The clsoest thing is a seemingly random background for their website. It's not much, but logically their background should be something about Funkydilla, Zoonami's announced game.
They haven't updated their website for a long time, so I wouldn't hold out for an update. When the website was still up, they had a section about dismissing rumours regarding Game Zero. They said it wasn't a racing game or a Goldeneye/Perfect Dark clone, but nothing else.

I did a little digging and here is some more information about Zoonami's new website image: Vohm/8.2 Zoonami
According to this, the web designers are making all the images, so it's not an in-game shot, but the theme is 1950's spy.
