Title: Rumours about a secret developer !?

We all now that Nintendo sold Rare. But since the Gamecubestart more and more development-studios have been opened. Now Nintendo shall allegedly made a new studio called Magicsoft. This developer is already working on games for the project “Revolution”. Magicsoft shall fit the gap between younger and older player. This studio wants to create games which responds the advance generation. There are also some known.

-Project name -Genre -Description

-Xantas -First Person Shooter -A futuristic shooter game which combine
the action of Halo
and the atmosphere of Metroid Prime. The
weapons and the
Character has a lot of possibilities you can
chose which one
you want to use.

-Time Mythologies -RPG -A classic Role-Play-Game. But the Time
influence in Real
Time the game play.The player can use
some actions just
in a certain date


-The Legend -RPG -Equal with the Final Fantasy Series

-World Fighters -Beat ‘em up -The new Generation of Street Fighter.
Based on the
gameplay of Street Fighter 2 & 3 but in a
beautiful 3D-World

-Crystal Saga -Action-RPG -Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore,
Terranigma, Illusion
of Gaia are all Fantasy-Real-Time-RPGs.
This game will be
another one with the same qualities.

-Pro Driving -Racing -Over 500 cars; uncountable tuning
possibilities, career
Mode, Morning, Day, Evening, Night Racing.
Go Underground or become a perfect
Racing Driver, you
have the choice.

-Card Hero- Card game- Yu-Gi-Oh in a different form.
It is more diffcult and you have
more possibilities than ever. The Game based on  
Card Hero for the Nes.

-Zantre- Action-Adventure-  You play an Hero who have the
power to absorb the
abilities of the enemies with a holy sword.

Magicsoft has more game ideas, maybe they will show the first games at the the next E3. If Nintendo really create this studio they will be very successful in the next generation.

Maybe. But Nintendo can realy surprise sometimes.
You saw the Nintendo DS. This was also a surprise.

I really don't think it's true because I searched "magicsoft" and is was just some java application maker or something like that.

That would be AWESOME if it were true, but I really, really doubt it.

Well something will be true.  They can really push some of their dream teams to where they want.  Look at rare, w/o Nintendo they only excel in FPS, and then Retro, they kept pushing them and they turned a team with 50% ex-Iguana members into creating something better than a Turok game.  Too bad the other 50% of ex-Id Software isn't really using their talents to create a good LAN FPS.  So really Nintendo can shape up dvelopers up to their standards.    I hope so with the "Revolution".

Why not? There is a possibility that this could be true.  You knew the rumor about the Zelda Collectors edition. Many people doubted that this ist true but it was.

I doubt this because there are already companies w/ the name Magicsoft and the rumor came from a dutch(?) message board. No magazine. No game site. Nothing.

But I still wish it were true.

It seems like a developer set up just to have a Nintendo version of every game in the competition.  A Nintendo Halo, Nintendo Final Fantasy.  Crap.  It sound cheap, and based solely on that information you've given us, something that ole Ninty wouldn't do.

Even if it is a rumour...if we keep on talking like its for real (which it may be) and spreading this rumour around then maybe Nintendo will think that it this is what we want and will do something about it....or maybe this is a bad idea and I should follow Optimus Primes (Shift Keys)advice.
