This is actually from the same blurb that Matt C from IGN made about the M+ in a permanent condom.

Yeah, after the poor reaction of Wind Waker they took the whole game back to the drawing board. Miyamoto was so angry that I heard he was upending tea tables everywhere and imprisoning employees because of issues the team were having with the game.

Nothing on Zelda.

Brutal Legend is all but confirmed to have a Wii version in development though.
Doubtful that its gonna be developed in house by Double Fine, but it should be a reality hopefully not too long after the HD versions

me n BnM were killer heh. excuse the pun lol. It's good to be back, been planning on getting my hand on a Wii soon and grab some goodies.

I wonder what the next installment will go? assuming they go on from where TP left off. And if we'll see Ganon again. Let alone if it'll use Cel shading like WW or go with TP's direction.

I sincerely hope that Wii Fit Plus is an actual sequel and not just the same old Wii Fit with Wii Motion Plus support.

It's hard to say, but Wikipedia puts the worldwide sales as follows:

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (7.6 million)
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (3.07 million)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GCN version) (1.32 million)

While "Twilight Princess" was a smashing success across the world in Japan it only sold 500,000 copies, EXTREMELY low for a series like Zelda. Because of this Miyamoto and crew started experimenting with the series, seeing how the game could attract new players while still keeping it challenging for older gamers.

Out of this "Phantom Hourglass" was born and was a bigger success than TP on the Wii and GC. The rumored Zelda patent hopes to make the game challenging while keeping it easy enough with a video and tip system.

That's why everybody says TP was a "flop" and why Nintendo wants the newer Zelda games to sparkle once more.

I personally would like the Wii to keep the TP styles and then let the Celda stay on the DS front. that way we can get the best of both worlds.
