Xbox360 event crippled by Verizon EULA
Microsoft's launch event for its Xbox360 video game system was brought to a premature close this weekend, when Verizon cut its EVDO service without warning. Verizon has subsequently issued a press release claiming that Microsoft violated their EULA, by using the broadband connection for something other than: "(1) browsing old Geocities web pages, (2) sending individual emails through a SquirrelMail interface, (3) talking to clandestine sex offenders on Yahoo! Instant Messanger. " Rumors of Microsoft's immediate investment in 50 Cent's emerging wireless broadband technology WiBrotha™ are making their way through the blogs. Nintendo shares fell 2%.
