I think Miami Heat jokes are a bit silly. You wouldn't ridicule NEARLY as many teams after they made the it to the finals.

I disagree. Any dream team that doesn't go all the way gets teased. This is true in football, baseball, basketball, soccer, hockey, probably cricket in the countries that care about that game, etc. It's the nature of the beast: sports can make a mountain of a molehill one moment (see: Tim Tebow) and then relish in the fall of a giant the next. It all comes from people just seeking entertainment, I guess.

Speaking of Teebus, I didn't catch the game last night, but were the two offenses as bad as the final score indicates?

In the Broncos case, only in the first 3 quarters.

So, will anyone be able to stop Cody's Reign of Terror? There ain't a whole lot of football left, and he's got a six game lead at the moment. Will a hero arise to save us all? Not it!

Quick question. Is Cody staff? I heard they can't get whatever prize there is when we finish up the season.

Nope, he's in the clear according to the site Staff page.  Though I don't know his forum name.  I'm fairly sure I've got everyone else pegged.

Just so you know, it's impossible to cheat at Pick 'Em. It's not like anyone has an almanac from the future that tells the outcome of every sporting event this year.  :P:

I think the site should make everyone above me staff...

Oh quick question. Now that the NBA Season is actually going to happen this year do you guys think we could do something like this for the NBA season?

Saints over Detroit
Buffalo over Tennessee
Atlanta over Houston
Carolina over Tampa Bay

Wildcard slots:
Arizona over Dallas
Chicago over Kansas City

Everything else should be run of the mill even if Vick isn't playing.

I did not see Chicago losing the way the did. Fucking epic.

As for Houston, way to go. That was well earned.

Buffalo can't seem to snap out of their losing streak.

Let's see if I'm right about my Saints.

So... does anybody want to win the NFC East? The Giants quit on their coach, the Cowboys need to, and lolskins/eagles.

Giants about had a chance though. You gotta give 'em that.

Now the Lions, on the other hand...

Well of course. You didn't go with the obvious winning tandem of Arizona and Kansas City, for starters!

Lions beat themselves. I will forever hate the Saints for beating the Colts two years ago, so I was disappointed again. if it wasn't for all of the absolutely retarded offensive pass interference penalties (seriously, 3 times in a row?) and the unsportsmanlike conduct, it would have been a much better game, easily could have gone into overtime. Also, can anyone explain why Orlovsky hasn't been starting for Indianapolis the entire year? They had to go through Kerry Collins and Curtis Painter to finally get someone decent out there? Miami pulled the same crap, only they've been counting on Chad Henne for 3 years and he has always sucked. They should have replaced him with Tyler Thigpen when they had the chance. Now they have Matt Moore, who should have started the entire year as well.

Damn. It was looking so good there for a little bit, they hung around all game and had 1st and goal with a chance to take the lead, then almost instantaneously they go down 14-3. Just as soon as I got my hopes up...
