I’ve been doing a lot of terraforming lately. I managed to get all the house extensions and enough bells to restructure the buildings into more of a neighborhood. I’m trying out a city type design with multiple levels. It’s slow going, but I like what I have built up so far.

Glad you made it!

I’m opening my island to anyone who wants to visit or sell. My Dodo Code is FLLNN. I’m not playing, but I’ll be around to make sure things are smooth for anyone visiting.

Just came by before your shops closed. Thanks again!

It’s all good I’m a bit tired from the day, but I’m happy to help. Thanks for visiting!

Eh, sure, I'll take it. Thanks mate!

Sorry I didn't have time to stick around and check things out, I was busy with another game already. Perhaps another time, seemed like a nice place.

Turnips are 398 in my island today. Wondering if anyone else has higher. If you’d like to sell let me know before 10pm est.

Yeah Harvey’s Island is a house you can set up the rooms for photos. You can invite animals over and dress them up with any item and stuff. Yeah, it’s creepy- I went once and never went back. Mostly because the photo app on the Nook Phone is easier to access among other reasons. Harv’s Island is cursed.

what is this place....? He just showed up on our island.
I wasn't really paying attention when she met the character, but is this some place she can come back to? LOL

I’m down to do exchanges. I wish the guide wasn’t being delayed because I could have a full list to work from. There’s a buy/trade site setup like EBay, but it’s called Nookazon. It’s really a shame Nintendo didn’t put some kind of check list available in the actual phone app. I wonder if they even considered making the Nook Link app reflect the in game phone. I played last week with a friend who suggested we try the voice chat feature and I gotta say that it’s the worst garbage I ever had to listen to. My wireless ear buds kept losing connection and the audio was really choppy. I really want this stuff to be better, but I’m not surprised.

Had anyone here thought of doing a "catalog exchange"?

Meet and exchange buyable items not available in your shops, then return them to the original owner, and now you can buy them in your shop too?

Yep. Back with Animal Crossing: New Leaf, that was the idea behind my Animal Crossing Trading League Thread. The idea being that a group of forum users would form a team (a league) and trade items with each other. It definitely was a big help in getting more items for one's catalog to acquire things you might want rather than waiting for them to appear in Nook's shop one day.

Thanks to you I made my first million. My prices are looking sour this whole week. I almost got killed by you but I spoke to Rory and he helped me escape.

A few people came by. I'm about to close up shop. Maybe I'll open a little later.

Sorry for being anti-social. I had a new spooky mask so I tried being a creepy axe murderer here and there.

Setting up this Turnip Prophet tool and inputting info based on last week’s pattern has set predictions to be low. At the start prices were everywhere, but adding the days prices seems to make things easier to track. As of now my prices look low for the whole week- highest price is set at 198.

I went ahead and sold my turnips yesterday, but I should have saved them because they’re going for 535 today.

This Sunday I’m going to buy more turnips and use the prediction tool, hopefully it all works out.

Sure, I’m around. Just let me know when you think you’ll be free and I’ll set it up!

In the interest of not having a truck load of reported turnips come Sunday, i might just take the 26 bell per turnip profit and call it a day. 😅

You gonna be around throughout the day?

I'm working till.... I'm not sure when. But I'm working from home, so i should be around.

I also saw this- interested in trying it out going forward too.

A tool that seems to reliably predict your turnip sales values. I've not been tracking them this week, but will try it in the future.

My prices were trash all week, but they’re going for 129 today if anyone is interested.

I got the construction stuff a few days ago. I didn’t think I was going to use it, but laying down paths and being able to move things around easily- except for flowers and even then I’ve been invested in growing them. I found a secret beach that I had to carve a path to reach and I put my house on top of a remote cliff of the island. Bunny Day was never great, but I feel like this year is the worst because you can’t ignore it. K.K. Slider is finally coming to play weekly and there’s a fishing tourney happening soon. I haven’t been able to spot shooting stars yet and I still don’t have all the fruit. I’ve been playing a ton and it feels like the ground work is set and I’m excited to see how it builds up.

Just want to thank everyone for a good game. I was asked by Khush to join and it wasn’t clear to me that the sign up date had passed. I thought I would be a regular townie, but picture me waking up surprised to find out I’m The Deleter. My home life has been a mess so trying to understand my role was tough, but I tried my best. Sorry to everyone if I messed up your vote or was late on some messages. Unfortunately I realized I’ve got too much of a heart and began wondering if I could execute precise hits to ensure no one had to die needlessly, but that didn’t work and the only hit we put out bore fruitless results. I think I played too soft though and might consider a different strategy for the future.

Check with Timmy and Tommy Mon-Saturday  to see their prices. Prices change at noon so if you have a low price in the morning be sure to check back. After a week turnips will expire and you won’t be able to sell them, but you can put them on the ground outside to catch ants.

I just bought all I could hold in 2 trips at 93. When can we sell them?
The ones I bought last week and never sold are wilting. :(

Hopefully someone here has prices on the buying side this week.

I’ve got all Bunny Day recipes. I’ve been crafting them for the credit and then selling them off. I can craft anything if you need.

Well.... I was trying to shop at someone elses Nook store, but I guess I'll go raid some random islands. LOL

Who has collected all the Bunny items.
Outside of the clothing items for Earth, Leaf, Wood, Sky, and Water (I'm missing Stone)
I have 12 of the 18 DIY items. I hear the 18th don't show till 4/12 when Mr. Bunny Suit comes back

Anybody got all 17 available Bunny Day items?

An absolutely needless action that seemed necessary at the time. War does terrible things to men. Your drinks are on me!

I’m surprised I lasted as long as I did. At least there’s drinks in the afterlife.

And good riddance!  Aren't you the guy that ordered my hit?  Shame on you!
:D

Finally the Fleece. ...... Where were you on Day 2?

I wasn’t lying to you when I PM’d you about it. I was doing house stuff. I don’t get to chose when I have to follow through on my responsibilities. Not realizing what would happen in the result of a tie led me to further hesitation. Day 2 was a mess and I’m as surprised as anyone about the outcome. I don’t know where my vote is going, but not on you. At least not yet.

Ok, here’s what I heard, but I may not have all the info...

Whoever is the main resident (The player who names the island and chooses the location of the house) on the island they are expected to set into production all the tasks that are given directly given to them by Tom Nook. He doesn’t ask other resident players of this apparently. All DIY Recipes are not given out, only the main resident gets most from Tom Nook, but other residents have to buy them. I also think that using going to the Nook Miles Island to recruit new villagers is also a task that falls onto the main resident. Also, and again, I’m not sure, but I heard that only the main resident can donate items to the museum.

That’s a lot considering that the game issues out progression via Tom Nook who relays that info to the main player. If you are being asked to chose the location of buildings then you will be fine. If not then those messages are for the other resident player. I hope that helps!

Question for anyone that would know.... not expecting anyone to have the answer, but worth a shot.

If you read the other thread I made, I had to delete my daughters 1-2yr old profile from my Switch because it was logged in to from the account not made for her on the switch, and there was no way to log her out (after looking in the app, there was a log out button, but since I wasn't the admin of her account... nothing I could do about it)

Anyway, my daughter started the town in Animal Crossing, and created my character for me while I was working (my AC name is Best Daddy if you see pop up in your town :D)
Question is.... I saw someone mention somewhere that only the town admin can advance the town.... what exactly does that mean?

Her account is still accessible from her mom's switch I believe, and therefore if she logs in from there, I think she would pop up on this island as home base. But we won't be sure till she goes back to her momma's house on Monday.
If she is unable to get back to the island from that account.... do I need to erase ALL progress made over the last 3 days and start fresh? because that's a total demotivator. LOL

I triggered the Musuem to get built and am building a house, but what exactly would I be missing out on if I'm not the town admin, and her original account is now defunct?

You can sell at my town if you haven’t found a place yet. I have all the fruit you have though, but no worries. I wasn’t sure if we’re friends or not so I made a Dodo Code: 986FP

I'm looking to offload some of my island's native fruit today in preparation for Turnips tomorrow if someone is open to me coming to their town to sell that would be great.

Apples are my native fruit, I have cherries and oranges as well so if you have other fruits I can take home that you can spare I'd leave you any of those.

Also if people are interested I made a bunch of designs in New Leaf that I've turned into QR codes, they are all hockey jerseys and the N64 logo, I guess I can post them here as well.

With the recent turn of revelations it might be best to reshuffle the board. Considering and weighing all options I’ve decided to Vote Pokepal. Best to stay on the safe side for now.

I think so too. I’m specifically talking about Gulliver showing up. I never really liked him and he’s been around twice already. Where’s Kicks? Sahara?

I think more special characters show up as your island progresses through Nook's little sidequests.
