Excerpt from the President’s Business Log:

Errgh! What a rough night. My body feels sluggish and broken and my brain is pounding against the side of my skulls. I may have to face reality and find a mistress that’s a bit older as I just can’t seem to keep up with Lucy and her hard partying ways like I could with my other mistresses five or ten years ago. Even taking some meth amphetamines with a shot of Monster Energy can’t seem to get me going this morning. I immediately told my secretary that I was not to be disturbed all day when I came in and then shut the blinds to my office. I left the lights off and just lied on my couch for another few hours.

At some point, the achiness had subsided a bit so I ambled over to my desk and checked up on my e-mails. I saw there was a progress report sent from Olimar about how the vacation home project was progressing. According to Olimar, things went pretty well in setting up base camp. He was able to once again make contact with the Pikmin species on the planet and already has some of that species working with him. With their help, he was able to start pushing some big block-like objects around and start forming a perimeter. Apparently, there was one incident as evening had approached in which a Giant Breadbug had come along and tried taking some of the materials Olimar had brought along for this project. Thankfully the Pikmin were able to perform at their usual excellence under Olimar and easily defeated this nuisance. They even gained a pellet with a value of 1 from the battle but I don’t see how that’s important.

Oh, it seems there was a scary encounter during the night. A perimeter alarm had gone off and as Olimar checked the security camera from his ship, he saw that there was a Smoky Progg lurking about and coming close to the encampment. Yet, it was not the Progg that had set off the alarm. It was actually from a Beady Long Legs that was walking through the area. It suddenly burst through some foliage and walked through the camp and then disappeared into the brush again as it hurried on whatever path it was on. In an incredible feat of timing, one of its long heavy legs happened to step down right on the Smoky Progg as it was crossing through the construction area and just squished the Progg dead under its weight. My, my! Nature is so icky. Just the thought of that is making me feel even more nauseous than I already am. It also occurs to me that we may need to build bigger walls around the whole area.

Oh! Look at the time. I need to hurry over for a lunch appointment with an arms dealer that wants to discuss a possible business deal for Hocotate Freight to help smuggle around some of his weapons. I don’t really want to go outside and face the bright sun right now with the way I feel but, once again, it always seems to fall on me to do all the heavy lifting in keeping this company afloat so off I go. Heavy is the head that wears the crown.

No one was eliminated from the Day’s Vote. Since the Vigilante hit the Killer they are still aligned on the Townie’s Side. The Mafia gained a pellet with a value of 1 from the hit and that is automatically put into the Master Onion.

Voting Time: For Day 2, the Day Thread will be open for a maximum of just about 48 hours. Voting will end and the thread will close at 1:00 PM EST Feb. 4 aka 10:00 AM PST Feb. 4. However, the Day could end earlier if a Majority Vote is reached.

Majority Vote: There are currently 17 players still alive in this game meaning 9 votes would be needed to achieve a Majority Vote.

Surprisingly, despite all the spinning plates happening in the game, I think that covers everything right now. Game is now resumed.

 :'( That poor Breadbug, killed by Olimar before he could even launch an investigation. It is nice to see an active Vigilante though.

That is a shame about Insanolord.  Nice job whoever is the vigilante. 

I had to adult most of this mid morning so I am back on here.    Only 3 people contacted me. Bungle5, Tophatant123 and pokepal148.   So for now Bungle and Tophatant123 are on my most likely not going to vote for them unless they give me a reason to. 

Everyone else is on my list as someone i need to talk to.
