We kick off What We’ve Been Playing with the conclusion of a pair of Capcom games we’ve recently talked about. For Casey it took nearly a six hour marathon, but he was able to see the credits role on Resident Evil VII. Perry on the other hand didn’t quite need six hours to beat Gargoyles Quest II, but the end result was the same. The boys thoroughly enjoyed what Capcom had to offer in these drastically different franchises. It was a busy week for Casey so he didn’t get a chance to play too many games (outside of chugging along SMTIVA), but he did find time to volunteer with his local Retro Gaming Group. The group put on a Mario Kart 64 tournament and put Casey in charge of refereeing. After the conclusion of the tournament he got to scope out the arcade area and got his hands on some old classics, including another Capcom developed game.

A light week for the eShop Round Up was made up by a big week in news! Nintendo had an investor meeting and naturally a lot info came out along with it. We go over some numbers and plenty of mobile talk. Oh yeah it only took 17 years, but someone finally found that hidden rainbow coin in Donkey Kong 64!

We are happy to introduce a new recurring segment, Compatible. In this segment we take a look back at different peripherals from Nintendo’s past, give a brief history, our experiences with it, how it shaped future endeavors for Nintendo and ultimately if it was a failure or success. For the inaugural segment we will take a look back to the Gamecube Gameboy Advance Link Cable and see what it had to offer in the terms of new features and connectivity.

Wrapping up the show is the return of Craiglist Roundup! It’s been a few episodes since Perry has told us of his spoils and to make up for it he’s returned with vengeance. He’s been wheeling and dealing, but it seems like with the jam packed segment came a whole lot of Keepsy Weepsy.

Yup... scalper! Love how you almost weren't sure you wanted to admit (again) to it, but decided after a pause, hell, the cat's out of the bag!

But anyway, the show is still really solid, keep it up. The Warioland Shake It segment was swell.
