Rumors of a "new business strategy" for the franchise.

The Pokémon Company will be holding a press conference shortly to discuss "new business strategies".

The press conference will be held at 15:00 JST today (11 p.m. Pacific time, 2 a.m. Eastern), but no indication has been given as to what the announcement will be beyond that. The conference will be streamed live on NicoNico, and the CoroCoro magazine which was teasing big Pokémon news in the next issue is scheduled to release in the next few days.

UPDATE 1 (11:30pm EDT): The NicoNico page states that "new company partnerships" will be a part of the presentation.

We will be monitoring the situation and will have the news as soon as we can.
