I was just nitpicking on the fact that even thought you stated SMB3 was the highest selling standalone, you said that SMB was the highest "selling" period, when most of the copies of SMB weren't actually "sold" but given away. I guess it really all depends on how you look at it. Either way I was just nitpicking and its nothing to argue over.

So, you've played the game b4? then you should have some idea

No, I watched the anime. And I still think Forte is a man.

That's why I said that SMB3 had the most sales ever for a standalone game

My guess would be Super Mario Allstars. I don't know a single Super Nintendo owner that doesn't possess that game.

Super Mario World was bundled with the SNES for a long time too, and you could send in like $4.95 S&H and get a free copy of All-Stars for a long time as well. I think eventually the SNES was even bundled with Super Mario All Stars+World...I think bundled games should count in sales, since a lot of time the system is sold because of the bundle.

I didn't.  But I sure wish I did.

I rented it, but never owned it.  I still feel like a complete idiot for not buying it when I had plenty of chances.  I wonder if it'll be on the Virtual Console, because as Nintendo showed with the Mario Advance games, they want us to buy all the Mario games seperately so they can maximize profits.

Of course I'd still download the NES versions as well since I'm the kind of person who likes having both versions.  But I'm sure alot of people would just download Super Mario All-Stars to save money, which would anger Nintendo.

Think about this guys. We thought it was cool when the DS led week after week last year with only 30k to 40k sales in those spans, and we thought that was a lot.

The DS Lite has been selling 100k plus EVERY SINGLE WEEK for a long streak and hasn't showed any signs of slowing! That's really really damn good! These are all non-holiday sales too. Nintendo is going to be rolling in pits of cash come the holiday season with this thing on the market.

Ah, I just noticed that GTALCS is on the PC as well. Same goes for Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition (which I think is even PC exclusive).
