Title: portable wii
Post by: Cap on January 25, 2007, 12:23:07 PM
something kind of neat that i found(i didnt see any other threads about this). a portable wii. i dont know how well it would actually work, but it looks pretty cool for being homemade.

An exert from the page:

Quick specs, this unit has a built-in close-range sensor bar, stereo sound, Gamecube port, 16:9 widescreen LCD, A/V jacks, port for external stock sensor bar, built-in power supply and even a compartment for the cord. It measures 8.6" wide, 7.7" long and 2" total thickness.

and the site:

http://www.benheck.com/

just scroll down the page a bit for the pictures(and a making of).

edit: it actually seems to work pretty well. the site has a link to a video of the unit in action.

Impressive. Now is there only one Gamecube port? Or does it open up to reveal the rest? Other than that, its a slick piece of hardware. I wonder how much that would go for?
