When you think about it though guys, the fact that Nintendo are holding this and went to considerable effort to do so (you know, secret codes, that give you more codes that are scambled versions of your time which you enter ina  site that unscrambles them and ranks you) then it's quite obvious that they are slowly pushing into the online world rather than the 'no interest' approach they've been claiming.

I would not under any circumstances an updated port/remake, whatever you want to call it, of Red/Blue. Besides they did one of those, it was called 'Yellow'
Why not just play your old game on GBA?

hope this comes to Australia, as if you didn't need more of a reason to pre-order Mario Kart though.
Chances are demos would be of already released games

Back to the original topic, i noticed they had a post your comments system and i was considering writing in that Wind Waker made me have the urge to stip off paint myself naked and decapitate a goat but then I relised the comments were screened.

I'm athetist, but i have to admit that i do occasionally question myself, (as mouse clicker was saying) but i just couldn't follow any sort of religion.

hmm, average number of votes in gamefaqs poll: 100,000 N° of votes in Cloud versus Link; 150,000.
Something wrong there.
Our doubt our resident Skater Boy who enjoys abbreviating words much like crappy teen bopper Avril woud understand such numbers, or where they came from
Listen mate, we all know there are other Squaresoft games, if you scrolled up about 3 posts before you arrived you would've seen us discussing the merits of Chrono Trigger.
We're Nintendo fans, I know that because we are all happily posting away at Planet Gamecube dot com so of course we are going to vote for Nintendo characters in the GameFaqs polls and of course we are going to be dissapointed if our favorite characters lost. I'm sure you would be very disheartend if Mario (you say italian like it's a bad thing) beat your longhaired girly man and Link (you say elf like it's a bad thing) beat the cross dressing cloud.
It's like you expected us to react the way we did and just wanted to be an arsehol and rub it in our faces.

Fuckity fuckfuckfuck.
Link is losing to some transvestite spikeyhaired pretty boy.
Fuckinghell what the devil is going on? Cheating must be at work here, it must be, theres no way Cloud could pull a lead like that so early in the contest.
Damn im really realyl annoyed at this

Nintendo Gaming / RE: "N5" design ideas
« on: September 01, 2003, 01:51:18 AM »
They need a big franchise to launch with the machine, Gamecube suffered because it didn't have a big franchise for a long time. Actually thatg is debatable considering the less then expected sales for Mario Sunshine.

Anyway back on topic. Apparently in it's predesign phases, the Gamecube was shaped like a flying scaucer ( I cant spell) , it was scrapped for space issues (cube is a more compact and less cabnet hoggin space than a scaucer (still cant spell)
Still nintendo should probbably concentrate more on making the machine look cool than actually be designed more logical. They designed the cube the way it is because it's a great shape, compact, cheap easy to make and the parts fit inside. Prehaps if they made a more sleek machine it'll be better received by the masses, which everone must know are stupid. (ie. how would've Hitler become leader of germany if the masses were smart?)
As for colours, I think silver, black and pearl white (you know, shiny whit white sorta white, not beige)

I dont like the idea of making it look like the NES.

Thanks alot mate. Anyway Michael8983 is right when he says that the N64 was technically superior to the PSX and that Nintendo were the only company to squeeze the juice from the machine (Well and Rare too)
I would just like to see EAD just push their next few titles more graphically, because we they probably could and the games would benfit from them.
