Importantly, the controls in Sunshine have been deinverted. They did not make it an option, however, so if you like the original controls, it’s your turn to be annoyed like the rest of us have for 18 years.

I intended this as a normal level you might find in the real game--not a super hard Star Road/Special World level, but just a regular world level with a little bit of a fair challenge to it.  There are several secret paths here, and I'm pretty proud of them; they have a real Mario feel to them, I think.  I hope people like the course enough to find them instead of just playing the level straight through.

"I'm here to localize Donkey Kong Land III."

"I only have ten minutes."

"I only need seven."

I've never played a Land game, but it looks pretty good. Maybe I should start with the first.

This looks good but complicated to play.  I would like to see Sub-Terrania with these graphics!

Sorry for three messages, but when I went to my gamepad, the home button was flashing.  It took me through some information screens and let me set the alert volume.  It then listed a bunch of recently played games, including some I hadn't played in a while.  So, it should have come up for you.  I did have another system update I had to do before the most current system update, so maybe you should look at the download management and see if there's another?  Wish I could help more.

Also, I think it said it comes up when you use the power button or the home button to start.  I guess it won't if you start by putting in a disc or some other method.  I guess I'll start mine in a second and see if I get it.

I haven't tried it yet, but it said you could launch recently played games from it.  Maybe you need to launch a game and then restart to get it?  I don't know.

I ordered one of those LEs from Game so I could get the chest.  And I'm in the US. Yes, quite an expensive trinket. At least the game itself came with my XL.

10
Are you kidding me right now?  I literally just ordered an XL charging cradle last night for $25.  Shipped, so too late to cancel.  Great timing.

11
For crying out loud NOA are you just forgetting about USA , the rest of world has something cool for this game but not good old USA?

It's in the Gamestop Black Friday flyer, so it's coming. Chillax.

The only thing I see is the gold 3DS XL.  That's cool, and I'm glad it's coming here, but it's not the Link Between Worlds limited edition.

Thanks.  I'll add you when I'm in next time (unless I already have--I'm not entirely sure at the moment).  I haven't been to this thread for a few days so I missed this.

Looks like I got lucky.  Lucha asked me to deliver something to Gala, and when I did, she asked for her time capsule back. She was hurt that I opened it, but I think getting a delivery erased that.  I wrote a letter and attached her time capsule present for good measure, but it looks like we cool.

What is going on when an animal walks around with green stuff coming off their head and a little "whee! whee!" sound that accompanies it?  They usually look happy when it's happening, but I don't get it.

I tried opening a time capsule and now I see that I'm going to go down in the giver's esteem when she finds out I opened it.   :'( Well, she isn't one of my favorites.  But, I'll try to mend fences when it happens.

Dan, thanks for the info.  I wasn't sure how I got my first two, since I got them right after taking my 3DS on a tour of the city, but I see that I definitely got them from Spotpass, as I have Krys and DY.  Krys's is the beautiful main room I was talking about, and now I won't try to get screenshots since she was Spotpassed to "everyone."  I'm still hoping to get Reggie.

Thanks to some furniture from Krys and DY, my house is not looking too bad.  Bree liked it when she visited.   ;)

in the US/EU they are being released through spotpass

Thanks for the link.  Before I read that, I drove around with my 3DS all day and was sad I didn't get a single hit.  Now I see I just need to be patient.

So, I just did some reading, and the only way to get homes in the HHS are through Streetpass?  I drove around with my 3DS yesterday and picked up a couple, but I thought I got them from adding some FC here (I happened to add two people right before I discovered I had two people in my HHS).  I guess I'll have to drive around with my 3DS some more.

Is there a way to share the houses?  This one I got has a main room that is gorgeous.  I'll try to take a screenshot lately.

Outside of racing strangers in MK7, I've never used the online stuff on my 3DS until I added a couple of people's friend codes from this thread.  I instantly got a couple of houses in my HHS--that's from adding the codes, right? One was a girl character with a stunning house that makes mine look really sad. But, I now have an idea of what these houses can ultimately be.

I'll figure out what my friend code is and post it later.  I'm still not entirely sure when people can enter my town and when I can enter theirs, but know that I've been playing a week, it's my first AC, and my house is nothing to write home about at the moment.

My town fruit is pear, and I just added lemon, durian, and coconut last night.

Where can you save $30?  I hope it's US.  I've not been a smart shopper when it comes to new games, but I'd love to pick up Pikmin at a discount.

The truth is, I only found myself stumped in one area, and I hit myself hard after not-realizing there was a hidden block there.
---

Heehee.  The jungle.  I even hit my hammer looking for that block and was pissed when I had to give in and look up the answer.  I swore I'd finish the game without help, but that one tripped me up.

My only problem was when I noticed the sometimes choppy framerate and couldn't unnotice it.  I wonder if the recent system update alleviates that.

Call me crazy, but I'm betting there will be an option to play the original LTTP.  Maybe included, maybe as DLC.  Miyamoto was always saying he wanted to remake that one using the 3D--that either changed into this new game, or both.

Thanks.  I always wanted to try Shield Pose, so that'll be incentive to buy this (besides the fact I have most of the other Wario games.  Now I just want to track a fly ball with the Gamepad, like in another video example.

Is Pirates that Shield Pose thing that was shown at the Wii U unveil?
