I had no idea this was so far along
I just noticed, EB's got it listed as an early June release, and Natsume's got screenshots up. Seems like a game that would fit really well with the DS.

Unless they've made it closer to the earlier games than the later ones (i.e. more arcadey) I'm not buying that.

well crap, my sister plays harvest moon on GC all day long, once they release it for Ds shes gonna want to play my ds. this sucks.

Looks very similar to FOMT for the GBA... same style at least.

I think I read somewhere the game is supposed to be released this week. It appears to be late if it was supposed to have been released in June...
Anyways, has anyone played it yet? I'm interested in knowing if it is worth getting as I am a fan of the series.

It's released... I've seen it at Gamestop. I can't buy it at the moment because I put it on my birthday list.

Reviews have been poor. Saying it's a pretty crappy version for a system that could improve the game so much. Heck, even Nintendo Power only gave it a 6.

hmmm... I haven't played it yet, but I hope it isn't really that bad. I'm a big Harvest Moon fan so I'll most likelt buy it someday. I hope HM for Wii does better.

A friend of mine who is a Harvest Moon nut, she loves the new game. So there ya go.
