To the person above complaining about the screen being cut off on non-HDTVs, it happens on my old CRT 16x9 set.  Find out if you can adjust the overscan.  I used to know how to do it and will have to figure out how again. Then again, I'm temporarily using component video until I can get an HDMI switcher (old TV, one HDMI input), so I may wait and see if my HDMI input is more correct.  As it is, Mario looked much better on the Gamepad than my TV.

My TV doesn't have any settings like that, it's and old-fashioned square-only-has-S-video set.  This is popping up all over the internet though so it's not just me having this problem.  It's hilarious that this has never been a problem with anything else ever but Nintendo finally goes HD and they screw something this basic up. 

I was able to confirm that Trine 2 downloaded.  That's super swell. I do wonder why it and New Super render on both the TV and the pad.  I wonder if you can tell it just to render on one or the other.

There was an article on Kotaku that said there's no way to turn off the gamepad screen.  That was one of their major complaints about the system, since that would be a great way to conserve batter power on it.

Nintendo has also apparently decided that if you don't have an HDTV you don't get to see the entire screen. No matter what settings you use there's always something cut off.

There's Nintendo Dream in Japan, but of course that doesn't really help most people on here...

I honestly hate this forced social aspect of some of Nintendo's games.  You can only catch 'em all if you know someone else who has the other version to trade with; you can only get all the extras in Metroid Prime 3/Trilogy if you know someone else who has the game to get tokens from; you can only complete the puzzles if you happen to pass someone who has them. 
And if you don't pass someone else, don't know anyone else you can trade with, well sucks to be you I guess.

Is this accurate?  I am pretty sure that The Last Story isn't GameStop exclusive and that no formal announcement has been made for Pandora's Tower outside of unsubstantiated rumors (even though I do hope the rumors are true).


Edit: Doesn't invalidate the overall question, as I'd be interested to hear any news about how/why there have been some GameStop exclusivity deals recently. Strategic move on Nintendo's part? Part of the deal for GameStop taking on publishing risks for Xenoblade? Just seemed like a good idea at the time?

Someone should tell Amazon that they shouldn't be offering pre-orders  for The Last Story then...

Take this with a boulder of salt, but I went to Gamestop a little while ago hoping against hope that the Power of Flight card wasn't for Game Informer subscribers only (it was), and the clerk told me that at some point (though he didn't know when) they'd be selling booster packs.  So maybe things will get a little easier here pretty soon. 

I went to EB Games and picked up a copy of Game Informer (which I had never even heard of) just for the Power of Flight. It was there.

Maybe it's different in Canada.  I flipped through the issues in the store and none of them had it, and the clerk confirmed it was just for subscribers.

I have a question i ordered some of these cards when Nintendo posted them on there Website awhile ago and they still haven't arrived, how long does it take for them to arrive?

I got my shipping notification on March 22nd, and they still haven't come. =/
I'm going to give it a couple more days and then I'm going to contact them about it.

Clicked on the updates tab, just for kicks and giggles, said no updates available for any of my titles.
Went to my download list and TONS of games and other things I've downloaded had updates (even the Ambassador Certificate, WTH does that need a 147 block update for?). I'm am amazed at Nintendo's efficiency in user interface design.

Its backordered, and I wonder if Best Buy will even get in a new shipment.  I was under the impression that the bundle with the CD was first print only

I wouldn't get your hopes up.  A lot of people on the CAG forums apparently had issues with Best Buy cancelling a lot of orders from Black Friday.  I ordered one just in case but I'm not really expecting it to ever come.

Did the update change anything with cookies? I tried to connect to the Denver International Airport free wifi tonight and it gave me a screen saying I needed to allow cookies, and the only thing I could find about cookies in the settings was to erase them. It worked fine last month in the same airport, so the only thing that's changed since then is the major update recently.

God effing dammit. The CD offer didn't pop up for me, either. Now I have to call somebody tomorrow? WTF, Nintendo?

Check our Reward Order Inquiry on Club Nintendo and see if the CD is listed, Uncle Bob is right, nothing says anything about a popup any more.

I ordered from Amazon and got my copy today. Gotta love Amazon Prime. I'm already regretting registering it now to get the CD instead of waiting two weeks for it to count for the new Club Nintendo year. All the songs will be available online once the disc ships out, and I'm only going to use the disc once, to rip it to my computer, and then it will just sit on a shelf.

I was thinking the same thing, but then my inner obsessive-compulsive fanboy took over.  Also, if they actually end up releasing the Wii U in the spring (not likely, I know but anything's possible) it won't be an issue anyway.
