We're doing this kind of nonsense every Tuesday from here on out, gang.

Join the staff and readers of Nintendo World Report on Tuesday April 10 at 9 p.m. EST/6 p.m. PDT to play some Kid Icarus: Uprising. Exchange Friend Codes in the Talkback forum thread below, and we'll have IRC chat in this article when we get closer to the event.

We plan on doing these types of community nights every Tuesday at around the same time. If there are other games you want us to break out, let us know.

Also, get ready for a Kid Icarus: Uprising tournament at some point in the future. It will happen. Also, props to Pandaradox for winning Nintendo's Kid Icarus: Uprising tourney at PAX East.

Having some good games! Anyone notice the more online you play the easier single player becomes?

The controls are fantastic when you learn how to relax and they are perfect for this style of play!

Well I got in a few rounds with a few of you last night. And got my arse severely kicked.
I've only played about a half hour of single player so far, so the multiplayer seemed chaotic, but it was fun!

I love how matches end with the victor lending a hand to the losing side. I'm frequently on the losing side, but that friendly gesture always help soothe my psyche. :) I can't think of a game that has more charm and, for lack of a better phrase, "nice touches" than this one. I'm starting to wonder why I never got into Smash Bros!

I played as 'Erik' last night but couldn't manage to get the IRC working on my phone (I was away from my computers at the time).  I enjoyed playing with you all and hope to get in on more Tuesdays where possible.  Perhaps, I'll change my in-game name to 'EJtheK' to match my name here and on the IRC for next time.
