If the pieces fall in the right places, then the Tetris movie could be a big blockbuster.

Jon kept comparing Tumbleseed to Marble Madness, but it was actually inspired by a Taito arcade game called Ice Cold Beer.

I like how you guys go into asset reuse right after the conversation about SMT IV Apocalypse, which is also a game that is heavy in asset reuse.

Speaking of Apocalypse, I recently found that Dagda's voice actor is Xander Mobus who is the announcer for Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U.  That guy has some real talent.

Oh dang, I finished Kindred Spirits not that long ago.  It will be fascinating to hear how RFN tackles this one.

I nominate Rondo of Blood for being the best Castlevania.  Might also be interesting to hear about the differences between the TG-16 and the PSP versions.

Guillaume should be all over Shin Megami Tensei IV Final.  The series has had a history of having cat girls. (and cat boys)

Up Punch Thwomp
For this level, you must use the Buzzy Beetle helmet and wall-jumping to get through a bunch of Thwomps.

Fire Emblem has always been like anime.  It just depended on what type of anime was popular at the time of each game's release.

I find it amusing that Xenoblade X was released around the same time as Amiibo Festival and Ultra Smash and the former significantly outsold the latter two.  At least the gaming public can display good taste sometimes. (unlike with Wonderful 101, Codename STEAM, and Sin & Punishment 2)

When Guillaume said that he wanted to play Muramasa before it got re-released, I was thinking that he was too late on that one since Muramasa got re-released on Vita years ago.

...unless he meant a VC re-release.

Hey Guillaume, if you are looking for a good RPG to get into I would recommend the Trails in the Sky series on PSP or PC.  I am currently playing through the second game and it is fantastic.

I want to nominate Yoshi's Island for Retroactive.  I think that would make for some great discussions.

I love the idea of closing the episodes with various Nintendo songs.  How will you decide what gets played?  Do you guys decide what to play or will you be taking suggestions?

When Jonny said that Sin & Punishment is worth owning a Wii for, I agree with him assuming he was referring to the second game since that is my favorite game on the Wii.  I also agree with him if he was referring to the N64 game because that is my favorite game on the N64.

Hey, I like Pandora's Tower.  I think it is great.

Also, I thought FE: Path of Radiance was the Wii game but it was actually Radiant Dawn.  My bad.  Either way, I'm sure the FE game will come out.

21
That means I will soon be able to play Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance without paying a ton of money on Ebay, though I would have liked to see Radiant Dawn come out first.

Interestingly, Sin & Punishment 2 and Pandora's Tower were announced for Europe.  Those are niche choices and I applaud NOE for that one.  I'm definitely down for buying S&P again if it comes out in North America.

I would not say that Mario never gets paid for saving various kingdoms.  They always leave coins floating all over the dang places.

The side-scrolling Pac-Man stage is actually a reference to Pac-Land.

...which is also a terrible game.

Coincidentally, Hardcore Gaming 101 just released a podcast dedicated to Legend of the River King.  I haven't heard it yet but I assume that it will entertaining.  HG101 usually makes good podcasts.

When Jonny was talking about his antics with Boktai, I was expecting somebody to make a Kojima joke.
