Ah, the swimming pointer. The game looks okay. Bots are dumber than I expected. Even on the lower settings of Unreal Tournament 2004, the bots are usually shooting in the general direction of a seen opponent.

I'm upset they didn't talk about how the IR controls work.. pretty worthless watching it because I didn't learn anything from it, other than it has it's own update to install..

Wow, this guy is pretty fast. I don't think i'm that fast with mouse and keyboard.

Is that true IR pointing? Not gyro stuff, like in Nintendo Land?

It made me want to buy this game.

I'm sure its true IR pointing, but I only base that on the fact that they did so for MW2: Reflex so they already have experience with it, plus I'm going to assume it's easier to program than the gyro stuff; or at least it would be easier since they already have experience with it.

I wonder if Pro will try the game. If he says it has good controls then I'll buy it just to play with friends, otherwise no dice.

Looks pretty slick with the IR pointing. He was turning around so fast and was so accurate. If they allow you to use it online you'll definitely see a wider gap in skill level than on any other platform.

I guess this means you may eventually be able to play Wii games with just the game pad.

I think the real question is.  Does the Puppy ever get the cord?

Awesome video.
Though why they needed to make sensor bar light visible and purple of all colours...

What's the point of playing say Skyward Sword on gamepad that way if you're not holding it and not using buttons. And using a miniature screen while sitting a meter away from it.

It's (invisible) infrared, but digital cameras pick up those frequencies.

Letting other people use the TV for other things.
Why doesn't Metroid ever take off his armor?

Hm, good point.

It just looks so cumbersome -- can't imagine myself of actually playing that way. If someone take the TV from me, i'd rather just pause and save the in that case.
