I bet they will sell the name...if there is much of a name there.  That is the main reason they paid sooooooo much for rare.  They have plenty of first person shooters, but they don't have any called Perfect Dark.

I personally think 40 usd for a prime release is a good deal, and secondary releases should be 30.  Thats the price point i want and i don't think that is too much to ask.

I want you to tell me how Microsoft allowing Rare to make games for the GBA will help Nintendo and Microsoft beat Sony in the home console market.  IT WON'T!

It also won't help Nintendo beat Microsoft in the home console market.  All it will do is give Microsoft/Rare more money, and THAT is the reason why they are doing it.

I feel your pain (except it doesn't hurt me quite so much).  I've had two nintendo systems and both have slow clocks.  One was a launch day American one, and the other is an imported Q.  I've never timed it with as much precision as you have, but both seem to be about 5 minutes off after a month.  It bugs me, but i just reset it whenever I'm bored.  I dunno.  I think its just a flaw in the system that has yet to be fixed.  You probably cannot do anything about it.

Everytime i hear these ms/nintendo partnership rumors part of me is like....hey, that would be cool cause then nintendo would get a bigger market share and online play.  Then I realize the only way it would be cool is if nintendo kept making great games AND they got to design the hardware to achieve the perfect balance of affordability and performance.  THen I realize, why does nintendo even need microsoft??!  =P

Am i the only one who doesn't save the cardboard boxes?  I don't think Nintendo intended for them to be storage...just packaging.  All I have is all of my little carts in a pouch thing.  I am excited about having a good way of putting them on a shelf.  I just hope you can buy empty ones for old games.

I like thePerm's idea but slightly different.  A while ago someone was posting a mod they did in the PGC forums where they rewired the z button to a red round button on the back of the hand grips, so your middle finger would hit it.  I really like that location for doing a dual l and r like the ps2.  I hate how the ps2 has them right next to each other, but doing that would make it easy to differentiate.  Kind of like the z trigger on the n6.

I too am sick of people bashing games.  Everyone CRIES for more titles, and when Nintendo delivers a wide range of different genre's we bitch??!  Thats just stupid.  I don't want 6 mario platformers.  I want 1 or 2 great ones, and then mario golf, tennis, party, etc.  I LOVE DDR and I will be swallowing up ANY rhythm game than nintendo delivers on my console of choice.

Virtual Boy wasn't VR.  I'm talking full gyroscopic motion sensing of your head movements... imagine the new metroid title where when you turn your head, you actually look that way.  Didn't Kodak announce that Nintendo was going to be using their new screens a while back?

I would love to get one of the logitech steering wheels......  The problem is, I want one for both Gran turismo and F-zero/mario kart.....  Is there any chance a PS2 wheel hooked to a gamecube through the controller adaptor would work like its supposed to, force feedback and all?
