If somebody is a killer in one Earth...how can we be sure he isn't evil in this one?

We Can't...DAaaMan64, could be a killer or Mafia here.  Should we risk it?

HELL NO!!!!  DAaaMan64 is a threat so he must be killed.

And thus ended the life of DAaaman64 a regular Townie in Beta.

So then, what does that mean for the Mafia's actions?

Oh sweet Mafia, what killing do you bring us tonight?

It appears that Plugabugz was found dead, UncleBobed...in other words...he was Pyro-Necro-Raped.


Oh and Plugabugz...was the Tough Guy.  There are no more special roles in Beta.

DAaaMan64:  Fool, there was no way you could kill me with your back turned. 

BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM...

"He didn't have to kill you I could." 

elsewhere in another part of the whole world the mob killed crimm...what a crazy turn of events.

So in case you weren't paying attention.

Dasmos:  A Mafia Goon was killed.
Crimm: A Mafia Goon was Killed.
DAaaMan64: The Killer was Killed.

No Townies were hurt in the making of this day.

The mob grabbed Easycure...he must be one the them...and beat him to a bloody mess...he was done for, until out of the shadows a man came to save him.  A Doctor. 

But somebody saw this act of kindness and took action.  BLAM.

The Doctor was hit by the Mafia...and UncleBob fell dead.

Elsewhere in Earth Beta...whom did not lose the VHS battle, and Apple is beating Microsoft in market share...this is what happened Day 2.

The Mob voted out Khushrenda whom was a, a, a,  Mafia Special. 
Khushrenda had the ability to switch roles in the dimensions if he desired, but it would mean killing his townie role in the process. 

The Mafia did not take this sitting down and struck the citizens of Beta. 
Shift Key was killed, and was discovered he was a townie.

And Earth Beta seems to be having a better day, today as well. 

Perhaps the townies will rally?

Earth Alpha has had some killings done.

First, the masses killed Khushrenda who was a simple townie.  Dead.
Next, The Mafia struck again at night and killed Uncle Bob who was just a simple Townie.  Dead.
Finally, The Killer Decided to Strike down RABicle.  Who was a Mafia Goon.  Dead.

So, after a terrible first day...it seems the townies rallied with the help of a killer to get one Mafia Goon.

I will use my other thread to continue Crisis story development for the game...though the cats out of the bag, I will add a couple entries into the story.


Here is where you officially sign up...and this is one of my crazy prize give away Mafia's...where just signing up can gain you a NES or SMS game.

Here are rules. 

1)If you sign up you must play the game.  To get rewarded a prize...so please do not sign up and then not play...specially if you do when the prize.
2)For every 10 players that sign up I will give another prize out.  1-10 are in a drawing together 11-20 in a drawing together and so on...late entries get just as much a chance as the others.
3)No duplicate accounts for the game or for the drawing.  Moderators, I would like some help on this if it is possible...but mostly, don't be mean...and play fair.

Actual rules and roles in this Mafia game will come later.

Crisis Mafia Rules:

This is an experimental Mafia game trying out a new idea in gameplay of Mafia.

Basically, there are going to be two mafia games running at once.  Mafia Earth Alpha and Beta.  Each Mafia will get its on voting thread, which you vote as regular per any mafia we have played before.  The person that loses that vote in that Earth will be killed.

However, several roles will effect both universes so although the games aren't 100% separate.

That said each person is given two roles.  One role for each Earth.  The object is to do whatever you can to make your team win in each Earth.  Since each Earth is playing separately your roles and motives to win in each Earth should not cancel each other out.

In Each universe there are 4 Mafia Agents, 4 Townie/Special Roles and 7 regular Townies. 

The special Roles Include:

A Detective,
A Brother,
A Sister,
A Doctor,
A Killer,
A Witness,
A Bounty Hunter,
A Tough Guy

Obvously, you notice that the Townies of Each Earth will have different types of Aid...however, it is important to note many of this Roles have actions that apply cross dimensionally. 

I will not be posting how these roles work...they are a secret for only the person that has the ability. 
Also, I treat the lynching from the daily vote as a night action...and all night actions take place at the same time, so if an action is given that action will be done...all actions will be done.


Other than that it is Mafia as usual.  Good luck everyone. 



Voting Ends Each Day at 9:00pm central Time (Texas Time)  This will give me enough time to to sort through all actions and make sure a get everything right.  Please send all night actions as soon as possible.

This Mafia game has been perhaps one of the most unique Mafia games on these boards.

Many ideas were created from this game.  

Including but not limited to:
1)New Roles and abilities
2)Mafia needing townies to win, and townies needing Mafia to win.
3)An All Seeing All powerful Killer


I believe this game did advance many concepts of the Mafia game, yet it still needs to be refined and polished.  (Like many new ideas.)  But I want to say Bravo for thatguy attempting and succeeding in something new.

Here are things I liked:  Many new roles allowed more people to have greater impact on the game.  It has really made me think about roles and what you can potentially do to empower more players.  Many of the roles had alittle more depth and finese to them.

Things I did not like:  Too many complicated rules.  Sure it was about trying to ensure the perfect balancing act of power, but it made me question more than not why characters had certain attributes.  Like, Why could Suzie talk to the T-Rex he reveal himself to her?  That made no sense.  I understood why the T-Rex couldn't kill Suzie, but why not vice versa?  I think many of the rulings made it hard to come up with abstract strategies for the game.

Also, I do not feel it a good balance to force either the townies or the Mafia to have win conditions that require people on the other team to be alive.  If the game wasn't random it would make more sense, but these win conditions made it too easy for certain alliances to be formed.  

I have other thoughts, but I don't want to complain because I did enjoy this Mafia and found the experiments to be thoughtful and engaging.  I will definitely take into conderation this mafia when developing another Mafia I will host.

HO, Ho, *Tired*...Is your story almost over.

Almost Sir.  Day 6 was a long, lazy day. After a week of being forced to expose yourself and going to work.  You know, we all have days jobs, because Christmas is once a year. We all walled ourselves in to protect ourselves.

But that didn't keep people from talking, or rather texting each other.  As we explored what was going on...we decided Athan Zala must be guilty...and last minute we all decided to do something about it.  Before the day set and night began we ran with our pitch forks and took care of him, Resident Evil 4 Wii edition style.  Sure it isn't a holiday themed death, but really we need to promote great Wii games for sale...so Resident Evil deaths work.

So moving on, we realized that the Mafia was still moving towards their goal of total control, and as we were killing AZ, Someone stalked sleeping Patchkid and Zack and Wikki-ed him to death.  Poor Patchkid didn't even see it coming.

Hey, I miss calculated.  Sunday still needs to occur, because the Townies can still win.

“So Ho Ho, Day 5 was?”

“Day 5 was weird.  We just found the killer and that should have put to bed the issue of the fighting.  But, some were still unsure about Stevey…after all we just lost our Doctor, and things looked as if it couldn’t get any worse.  Sure we got rid of the Killer…but at what price, at what price.”

“Led by a single voice that has rang true for days…we decided that Stevey was not to be trusted, and We grounded his bones into Jello….Strawberry flavored.  It was quite good, until somebody chipped their teeth on a badge. “  

“We tried to rush him to the Doctor, but obviously we don’t have one.  So we just took him into the scary building on the right.  You know every town has one of those right?  Well, the owner said he used to be a dentist so we all went home happy.”

“In the scary house poor Oohhboy was tortured and beaten to death.  Apparently he was some sort of pervert that liked watching people.  Yes, you could say he was a witness…but in truth he was a peeping tom.  At least that was what the note said written in his own blood.”
So with only two deaths today, you would think our town would be relieved…but instead we saw the truth, our two last best hopes were dead.  And if we were going to pull out of this battle, we were going to have to fight ourselves and get our hands dirty.  (Like we hadn’t been doing so already.)

“Continue What happened Day four, Ho Ho?”

Day 3 must not have provided the results that people wanted.  The angel may have saved Stevey, the fellow Christmas Icons just weren’t feeling so forgiving.  

They were split among the same battle.  One of these men is truly evil, but which one?  

The argument lasted into the night, until the group a heard a scream.  Zach had been smothered to death with Blue Frosting!!! And 18 Days was caught Blue Frosted in the Act.

Get him…Kill that KILLER!!!  The Townies grouped together, and stuffed that blue frosting down 18 Days throat until the madman’s stomach blewup.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch (where the reindeer are silly) an agent of the Mafia broken into the Angel’s house and killed ThePerm.

The Doctor could not save himself, and body was dipped and hardened in dark chocolate and rolled out into the Town as a warning to all.

Truly this nightmare was just beginning.

“Ho, Did it end after day 2, Ho, Ho.”

No, after day 2 the Mafia had lost its leader, but they quickly reorganized.  The day went by peaceful, with very little commotion, and it almost felt as things were back to normal.  

But then rumors started spreading about the Mafia regrouping, and people began to fear.  Two figures emerged as the most suspicious, and we fought amongst ourselves who to out, because we knew one bad seed could kill us all.

To decide who was true and who was not.  They blind folded them and sent out their most evil and justice citizens of Holiday Land….the Care Bears.

CARE BEAR STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARE.

They cried out as their torture began.  Very few know this but, as the Bears stare into your very soul it causes horrible itching and burning the likes no one on Earth has every felt…unless you have felt a Care Bear Stare.

Stevey Fell to Ground.  Stop it…Stop it Please...and took his last breath.

“Ho Oh, No.”

But then an angel of light appeared.  Stop Care Bears.  Stop holiday icons.  Can’t you see this is wrong.  It does not matter if he is good or evil…he should still be allowed to live.  And with that the Angel saved his life.  

But, the lust for Blood did not end.  And the killer whom has killed for good and evil, Attacked once again…striking Shy Guy in the gut with a Largest Candy Bar in the World.

Shy Guy as the assassin made his escape.  That can’t kill me.  And just then the Carmel Nugget Ball fell on him.  “But that can…”  I guess the Mafia wanted Shy Guy dead as well.

"Ho, Ho, Ho...continue with your statement"

Day 2 was a day of accusations and paranoia.  Nobody knew who to trust, but nobody was in the holiday spirit, because everyone knew the nightmare wasn’t over.  
Finally, everyone was tired of words, and they went after the two people they thought were most guilty.  But who to kill?

“Ho, Ho, Ho…what happened next?”

Oh long story short they decided Mario was guilty and they brutally beat him with those stupid yard snow globes.  

Just then Bustin98 showed his true colors and started laughing histerically…Ha, take that Mario…I never liked your games.  You are stupid, and SDF review was right about Galaxy…it sucked!!!

BANG!!!!  A shadowy figure backed away, from the crowd.
“Well, somebody had to do right?  I mean he was bashing Mario, MARIO!!!!!!!”
But, as with these annoying impromptu stories that make no sense there is always a twist.  Bustin98 stood up.

“Say Hello to my GTA friend.”  Bullets poured over the crowd…missing everyone except for Vudu, a poor townie just trying to make a living as a Blacksmith.

“Oh, Ho Ho…”

I saw it all Santa.  It was horrible.

This guy was running, screaming at the top of his lungs.  STOP!!!  NO, DON'T.  IT IS TOO SOON.  PLEASE GOD....STOP.  

Suddenly There was a flash of light.

BOOOM!!!!!

An mob decided to go after an Ice Bomber, that poor soul was trying to stop it all.  But Sister Mary Le Fever, thatguy, and Wandering were all caught in the blast, and frozen to death.

But, the night wasn't over.  All the holiday specials came to the accident, watching in horror at the frozen figures.  GoldenPhoenix was watching pushing her way to front of the crowd when a Ninja cane (A red and white candy of death) sliced through her delicate skull.  She fell to her death, and the crowd scattered for safety.  

And with one single bloody day, the Holiday Mafia Nightmare began.

Did you hear the news?  Fox TV has just bought all the rights to every holiday special.  That means, there will be only one channel to watch all your holiday classics.  (Another Brilliantly bad decision by the management.)  There is just one problem...there is not enough hours in the day to show each classic...and this fact has hit the North Pole very hard.  

The Holiday Characters are all discussing what this means to their yearly royalty checks, and the future of their show being a holiday tradition.  Some Holiday characters are even willing to kill for their show to survive!!!  And worse, a group have formed into a deadly Mafia that are slowly going to eliminate all holiday specials from the lineup.  

Can the other Holiday characters find and eliminate the holiday mafia before it is too late?



Ok, DAY ONE starts early.  Everyone start your voting.

Just a side note...each townie got a unique Townie role like Townie Hobo or what not...so each PM is different.  It still just means you are a regular Townie...it does not mean you have a special role unfortunately.

Also, if you ask anyone to PM them a screen capture proof of their identity you will be killed in this game.  All that person has to do is report it to me, with ironically enough a screen capture of the PM.  I will give you a chance to confirm you did or did not do this...but just don't cheat ok.  

And Mafia you can ask me to give you a special fake Townie Role to give to other people.  So that won't work either.

Hey, Polls End, 10pm CENTRAL TIME (US & CANANDA)  So If that is a big problem let me know now...and I may change it later...but 10PM is the best time for me, and it should allow everyone to get home and vote.

Night Actions will be all processed in the morning.  Around 8:00AM CENTRAL TIME.

Theme:

It seems that after all these years of sharing our hearts and our holiday air times, the holiday specials are sick and tired of it.  And a group of them have joined together to form the Holiday Mafia...but which ones are they...it could be anybody.  Is Charlie Brown turning evil...or is Rodolph finally tired of being picked on.  Only one thing is positive, if the Mafia is not stopped the entire holiday will be ruined by murder and incredibly lame reruns.  

(Ok, so it is a silly theme, but I like.)

Mafia Rules:

The Godfather can either pick to investigate someone or kill someone each night.  When he puts a hit on somebody he can do it himself, or elect for another one of his Mafia members to do the hit.  If he does the hit himself, then he can choose the target.  If he chooses another Mafia member to do the hit, that member choices and must PM me the hit of his choose or a hit will not happen for the day.  Communication is key for the Mafia to survive after all.  There are no other special roles for the Mafia.  

Townie Roles:

Brother/Sister Role  The Brother and Sister are regular Townies, but they know each other from the start of the game.  They are very close and can not live in a world without each other...so if one of them dies they both die.  So to ultimately win with this role you must both remain alive till the end of the game.  You start out with an advantage, but you also have a liability.  

Detective:  The Detective can investigate one person each day.  Once I receive his request for investigation I will let him know who that person is...so he can use the information for day time decisions and votes.  

The Witness  The witness likes to spy/watch over the citizens.  So he will follow whomever they voted for the night.  If that person is killed they will have spotted who the killer was...but will not know the identity of that person, just the name.  The witness although a little creepy could be a very helpful tool in finding the mafia.

The Vigilante  It seems every town has that one crazy person that takes the law into his own hands.  the Vigilante can kill one person during the night...but if he killers any regular townie then he will die as well.  The Vigilante can kill all mafia/special/and unique townie roles without consequence.  And the Vigilante is the only person that can get rid of The Bomber without going BOOM!!!

Doctor The Doctor can choose to protect one person from both the night action and the daily vote out.  


Special Roles

The Bomber  The Bomber has a complete new set of rules, so pay attention.  At the start of the game the bomber must choose a Side to Support either Mafia or Townie.  This is basically a bet on who the thinks is going to win.  At the end of the game, if that time wins then the Bomber is considered a winner along with that time...with one catch.  The Bomber MUST BLOW UP to be eligible for the win.

The Bomber can be blown up by either being voted out or targeted to killed.  If he is voted the last 3 people voting for him will be killed.  If he is targeted for a hit, He and that person will both be killed.

The Bomber can also do a targeted explosion.  If the Bomber decides to do a targeted explosion he must Private Message me a name the Night Before  That person becomes the target for killing.  At the end of the next day, the bomber will kill that individual and up to 3 players whom voted for that individual.  If nobody votes for the individual only the target is killed.  

Of course, no matter how the bomber explodes he will die along with anyone else that gets caught in the blast.

The Killer

The Killer is the hardest role to win with...but it is also the most fun and evil role in the game.  The Killer can target and kill any one person he choices each night.  To win the game he must be the last person remaining alive.  Don't think of him as a killer, just think of him as an extreme Introvert.  


Those are all the roles I have...and I do not foresee adding anymore, unless we get new players, then I might add another Mafia member.
