TalkBack / Re: Pilotwings Resort Review
« on: March 23, 2011, 11:24:30 AM »
Wow was excited hopin to get a 3DS and pilot wings and asphult 3D
day one.  But pilot wings sounds like the best launch game im not getting.
All the early reviews im hereing , seem to point to the 3ds not being worth the money, games are to expensive and u have to fight to keep the 3d working.
Yea, i like what i read here about Pilot wings, but as big a nintendo
fan as i am, im thinking that its time to let a launch go by, and sit on
my hands.

FYI thanks for the review Neal, excellent job. (seriously)

I want the inside Japan scoop.
all we get is the worse reports, it would be nice if they
could report on how the disaster is effecting the daily
life of Japanese, and gaming culture as it pertains to Nintendo.

After hearing they are ok of course. our thoughts and prayers
 are with the Japanese people.

i thought the whole thing was made in china. interesting info.
i was  thinking its made in china and the u.s. office could cordinate
shipping, but it sounds as though its more tied to Japan
then i thought.  Thanks for the info.

While shortagages and delays would be annoying
lets remember that thousands are dead or missing.
in the long run, our petty hardware concerns arent that important.

OK jim, chill. its a quick look what i have video, just 2 mins.
the more time he puts into production, the less time he
has to play and review games and systems.
i wanna see it, here what he thinks and see it playing, quick in and out. done.
all the extra crap is spice on the frosting.

I'll wait. put the money aside and when it is released, i'll get it as planned.
Tsunami or earth quake always a good excuse, but both!
I'll be patient, take care of your people then worry about the games.

TalkBack / Re: 3DS May Be Brickable if Flash Cards Used
« on: March 11, 2011, 08:12:07 AM »
perfect solution.
homebrew stay on ds and dsi
buy only NEW games from trusted stores.
which is what i do.
i never buy from ebay, to many shady people on that service.

Pirates have been hiding behind homebrew and importing for years.
honestly no one is forcing you to buy a 3DS so dont if you dont agree with this.

you go Nintendo.
it's way to easy to buy a card and download roms and never buy a game.
i for one welcome it, especially if u get demos and game videos thru the  e shop.

there is way to much piracy, and i want to see it go away.

If they allow streaming of h.264 video, oh say like the ipod touch, it can stream youtube.
i go to the youtube mobile site with my old 1st gen silverback iphone and watch
youtube videos, as long as they allow streaming. You dont need flash, would be nice but
if i have netflix(check) and youtube( ? ) im fine with no flash.

I thought about the D pad being significantly lower, but because i hold a DS/DSixl the way the
guys at NST showed way back when the DSF launched, i dont get hand fatigue.
i easily support both sides and use the stylus.
 There is a proper technique.

Thanks for the impressions. how was your battery life?
you said u played for 4-5 hours, what was the battery proformance like?
