Mafia 78: Day 4 - Zoinks! It was you all along!

(1/3) > >>

Stratos:
Well these have been an odd few days! Management is not pleased with these “incidents” at all, and it may be my job on the line after their internal investigation is complete.

There was another argument among the contestants, and suddenly people were tearing at one of the player’s faces! It played out like an old Scooby Doo villain reveal. BeautifulShy was held down and when her mask was removed it was none other than Mario Mario, the Godfather of Nintendo. What a surprise!

But that was just the beginning of this night’s rollercoaster! Oh no, we’re just getting warmed up! No sooner is Mario escorted off by police than we hear someone screaming from the breakroom like Xena: Warrior Princess. Everyone rushed in to find Stevey dead. Stevey, the Killer, was frozen in Stasis with the Dagger of Amon Ra plunged into his back with a note attached spelling the word “Revenge”.

So now our murder count has increased! And we have a mafia and now a rogue vigilante on the loose! And I’m still expected to select a new project, as management thinks that is the only way we can salvage this situation.

UGH! Fine! Here are today’s questions:

* How much will it cost to port your game?
* How much time will it take to port it?
* If your game was a song, what would it be?

BeautifulShy, the Mario Odyssey Godfather, voted out by Townies

Khushrenada:
Dear Panic Button and Popo and, I guess, Mr. Stratos too,

I accidentally knocked down a beehive. Thank goodness no one was hurt. Am I speaking literally or metaphorically? Surprise! It's both. This may or may not surprise you but I've been really into correspondence courses lately. I recommended one to a friend and ended up getting a referral fee out of it! If you are interested perhaps I can recommend some to you as well since that money has really motivated me to be more bold in recommending things.

Therefore, I'd like to recommend that you end this process and select three games to be ported to the Switch. Obviously, I expect Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival - Lottie's Revenge and the Amazing Army of Amiibos to be one of those three games. I'm not too particular about who the other two games are. Make it an old PC game like Camelot or port over some kind of Sega Genesis VC. It doesn't matter. But I do believe that by increasing your production of ports then you will be able to increase your potential revenue stream instead of just putting all your eggs in basket, so to speak. Moreover, rather than just relying on one game to be your savior from this PR fiasco, you can hopefully overcome it with more goodwill by having more games to offer and increase the appeal of your consumer base. It will also show that you don't plan to let this recent unpleasantness slow you down.

Just to show my desire and goodwill to help you get over this strange turn of events, allow me to answer some recent questions you posed in an effort to help bring everyone's lives back into normalcy.

How much will it cost to port your game?

Recently, I received a blank letter with some bells money from my past self. I guess I must have known I'd need it. Also, I was sitting on a bench humming to myself and was mistaken for a street musician. A passerby tossed some money my way! I guess what I'm trying to say with these two examples is that whatever the cost may be, don't worry about. It seems I've got plenty of ways to cover it and I'm sure I'll be able to get whatever money is needed to get this ported.

How much time will it take to port it?

It's Monday so I decided to plan out my week. I got carried away and planned for everyone else as well. They gave me some bells moolah for it. So, basically, if you follow my planning, it should take a week.

If your game was a song, what would it be?

Today I stayed home and wrote a new song. It's a pretty cool number. Looking forward to playing it for my groovin' fans. However, if original, organic, free-range, hormone-free harmony tunes aren't your thing, well, let me tell you about the time I was sitting on a bench humming King K.K. when the king himself walked up and paid me a really nice compliment! I felt like I had gained 2 happy points in life that day. So, I have a soft spot for King K.K. and I think that is a good representation of what this game is like. Total crap! Zing!

Leading a full life,
Aya Kyogoku

P.S. This will probably sound strange and make no sense to you but I feel I have to include it even if it does seem out of character for me. Vote nickmitch. I just hope that doesn't make you suddenly start questioning my sanity.
