Well...that was disappointing. At least there's still an E3 next week to make an announcement, but I'm not holding my breath.

Nintendo Gaming / New Pokemon Direct Tomorrow - Switch Game?
« on: June 05, 2017, 01:37:40 PM »
Tomorrow's Direct would be a historic one if they actually put a Pokemon game (not spinoff) on a console like the Switch. If Game Freak and Nintendo do deliver it, wouldn't this guarantee Switch success for the lifespan of the system?

Tournament went well with this game. I had to put on the Joy Con straps for the first time. Now I'm definitely going to use these every time I use them every single time.

Multiplayer NBA Playgrounds is awesome in large crowds...especially during tight games.

I downloaded it last night and played for like 15 minutes. The map on the GamePad has 3D skyscrapers...not bad. It's a little choppy...and the driving is not as tight as I'd like it to be. There's a skill purchasing tree, which has me excited.

I like Ice Ice Outpost. There are shortcuts all over this track and if you choose the wrong track at a given time, you miss the shortcut. It's a brilliant design meant to confuse you during a competitive race. I thought the weakest track was bringing back the SNES Rainbow Road. It's not fun at all.

The Wii U line-up in its second and third holiday season (this year) is crazy good. If the Big N keeps pouring more titles in post-Smash release, then we will see exactly what Ian Sane is talking about. The accumulation of first party titles that will hopefully overwhelm the so-called "hardcore" gamer on PS4/XBOne to pick up a Wii U as their second console.

From here , it's all on Nintendo to release more titles post-smash and flood the market with more first party efforts. The biggest first party games on the way are Xenoblade Chronicles X and an original Legend of Zelda. Will titles like Captain Toad, Yoshi Wooly World, and Splatoon be big enough? Nintendo needs to solidify this line-up with more and hopefully they have some release announcements for 2015 at E3.

All of a sudden there's immediate life after Smash. December 5th...take my money again Nintendo!

Funny how Mario Kart 8 has given Mario Kart 7 a nice uptick for the past few weeks too.Nintendo does evergreen like nobody's business.

It's also probably why their prices are evergreen full retail cost in most cases.

Day 1 purchase for me.  That makes two from this forum. Success...here we come. Purchasing Platinum Games is an expensive price tag...even for the Big N. It'd be cool...but then knowing Nintendo since the 80's... Platinum Game will be assigned to revive some franchise unworthy of their talents... Dr.Mario. :(

A debacle? It's a little early, don't you think?

It's not looking too good right now, but it's expected that these companies will hold off and let Nintendo announce major Wii U stuff.  Man, I hope this changes at 7:00 am PST tomorrow.

360 (130K) > 100k > PS3 > 50K > Wii > 40K > WiiU > 30K > 20K > Vita

None of that has typos.

Added Vita sales.

No 3DS?

Nintendo Gaming / Re: Wii U to miss out on 15 EA Games
« on: May 22, 2013, 03:26:09 PM »
EA is a little shifty...from not making any Wii U games to we're only making four.  WTF on running a company.  No wonder Riccitello left.

The more and more I troll these forums, the more likely I'm believing in the notion that Nintendo should have a dev that just ports $#!+ to the Wii U.  Maybe Nintendo Software Technology can be the porters.  Hell, I'd even go as far as reviving Silicon Knights and having them be the Porter House Steak in this situation based on their work with Twin Snakes.  Hmmm...or both.

I finally touched a Wii U and it felt weird. Grandma pussy weird.

Anyway, the benefits are apparent....immediately. My thumb is perfect to interact with that screen, similar to Ian's mom's asshole. All I'm saying is this...If Nintendo fails to utilize what they've made this round, I may..MAY abandon ship. The possibilities are stupid easy, i.e. simple. Get it done and let me enjoy my decision in trusting Nintendo for another generation.

Did this respected forum just turn into a "Yo Momma" session? Anyway, the Wii U will move when more first party titles come out.  It's not going to be a month.  It'll take until the release of the next Smash for this doom and gloom talk to be truly over.  Anyone doubt that Smash will move units?

Survival Instinct is developed by Terminal Reality...and it doesn't look good from what I've seen.

Picked up NFSMWU, MH, and...Tekken Tag Tournament 2.  I went backward with my free copy...and it turned out to be an awesome decision.

23
NFS Most Wanted, MH3,and Lego City...oh yeah.

Agreed.  It's the best RPG on a Nintendo console since Chrono Trigger.  It's the best on Wii and GCN.  120 hours in and the story still doesn't let up.

Xenoblade Chronicles WAS an amazing experience.  I can't believe we're getting this...this is something I never thought would happen on a Nintendo system post-SNES...a game that makes sense to release.  No more quality RPG deficiencies methinks.
