TalkBack / Crash Nitro Kart Announced

While intense multiplayer action allowing up to eight players to race against each other using multiple systems will make Crash Nitro Kart an ideal party game.

Does that mean someone playing on a GCN will be able to race someone playing one a PS2 or XBox?

Donkey Kong riding a barrel?  Koopas riding a shell?  Did Nintendo think for more than 10 seconds in designing these?  I think the themes fit well with their characters, but it seems like Nintendo did the bare minimum amount of work to take the ideas and turn them into cars.  The shell kart really is just a bunch of shells, I think it would be nice if they had taken the shell theme and matched it up with a cool car design.q]

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that feels that way, its not Mario Kart without a real go-karts

They held out, and made us wait for so long..........to show us the ... idea i have seen since cell shading. I like the idea about the double seated karts, but the karts look stupid.  Take the original kart, and make it extra wide so it fits two and then it would be the best game ever.  But anyways, if you can play it on LAN, I'm pretty sure it will be online too.
