Okay my Brother just bought a used PS2 today everything works fine except when we go to put  DVD's in it asks for a password. Is there an Universal password for it.

Any help anyone please!!!

My password is 0000.  I don't remember if that was the default setting, or if I set-it-up that way.

You can access the DVD menu by pressing Start or Select, and then change the various settings.

TOY:
The system comes out of the box ready to play any DVD but you can use a password and set parental controls so kids cant watch R rated movies. The easiest way to fix this is to put in a P.G. movie, the system wont ask for a password, then you can go in and delete the password and reset the settings so the system wont ask for one anymore.
