This game is amazing. Push Mode is incredibly addictive, even against the cpu. I can't remember the last time a game has made me yell so many obscenities and pound my desk in frustration... but with me actually having fun doing it and enjoying coming back for more.

And yeah, ghost pieces, hold, and hard down are great additions. They seem to complement the old Tetris formula without taking away from the clasic feel due to the pace of the game (after 150 lines in Marathon Mode, one couldn't imagine playing without them)... but then again, hard down has screwed me over many a time. Itchy trigger finger. I really don't pay attention to anything after the second "next" box though...

The retro action on the top screen is also very cool. The farther you get in marathon mode the more games are displayed on the top... but on the flipside, the farther you are, the faster and more frantic the action on the bottom, so you really can't enjoy what's going on, heh; it's a cool distraction nonetheless.... a distracting distraction...

Anyhow, the game's a blast. Anyone remotely interested in puzzle games should pick it up.

I've been toying with the same idea. I think it'd be cool if developers made GBA games that have the option to make use of the DS extra buttons... and maybe slightly bigger screen. Imagine being able to play MMZ4 in fullscreen with SNES style controls. Nothing huge like dual or touch screen support... but just more buttons and pixels. Subtle features, similar to the idea of games like Mario & Luigi being optimized for the GameBoy Player.

There are only a few people on this forum who are like that.  Most people just agree with Nintendo's decisions.

That seems to be a common conclusion- agree with Nintendo?  Blind fanboy.  Not saying you necissarily think that, but I hear that argument a lot.

Oh yeah, I'm not saying that at all... that would be unfair. I guess my point was there are people like that and pretty much only one of Ian.

Well, as long as you have one by November or so, you should be good to go. I bought mine for Castlevania DS, and now that all these awesome games have been announced I don't feel so bad for spending 200+ on an uneccessary bundle (thanks Amazon.com).

The forums need Ian. He brings much needed balance by not being a blind fanboy that loves every single decision Nintendo makes... hell, he might not like 99.9% of them, but there are more than enough people here that do... plus his posts are always well thought out and chalk full of logic regardless of whether or not the majority of people agree with it.

I won't buy this one. I have completed only one level on Zero 3. I managed to beat a second one once but since my rating sucked (much damage, slow, 0% mission completion, damn "race that sub for the buttons" mission...) I dropped that attempt. Damn grades, sometimes I think I should just ignore them but that would mean missing out on the special moves... Doesn't help that you're not allowed to use those elves if you don't want your grade to suffer.

In this case, I think more buttons would help out alot... much like they did for the MegaMan X series. It'd be nice to have dash mapped to one of the face buttons... and not having to hit the pause screen to switch weapons.

And yeah man, you gotta ignore your grades on your first couple of run-throughs of the game or you won't have any fun at all.

I gotta pick mine up tomorrow. I would have imported it from Japan earlier but sadly blood is not > language barrier.

"MENACING CHALLENGES AWAIT THE BLUE BOMBER AS CAPCOM® RELEASES MEGA MAN® ZERO 4 FOR THE GAME BOY® ADVANCE "

Whoa, whoa, whoa.... since when is Zero referred to as the "Blue Bomber"?

" Nintendo has described its forthcoming next-generation console, codenamed Revolution, as "very, very sleek." The company also says the machine will be no thicker than three DVD cases stacked flatly on top of each other. And not much wider, either. "

So pretty much they stacked three dvd cases and wrapped a piece of paper with the words "Teh Nintedo Revolution" around it.

Haha, I just had my fill with Nintendogs... once you've played it for like 20 minutes a day for like 5 days you've already done everything you can do (sans doing it again with another dog or collecting all the items)... and Advance Wars turned out to not be my cup of tea (it was a great game, but a little too hard for me to get into, I dunno, maybe I'm slow).

The biggest issue was money though... I HAVE to get Castlevania DS, MegaMan Zero 4 and Gunstar Super Heroes... and they all come out this month... that and Seven Force; he pretty much made me do it.

I really think alot of people use SMS's commercial as a scapegoat for the game's (lack of) success. Back when the game was released, I remember the sh!tstorm that ensued on the IGN Boards with people claiming that the commercial ruined any chance of the game selling well and blah blah blah. I think that's bulljive. It's not like if Nintendo didn't tell the kids that Nintendogs are off da hook it would have flopped... bleh, now I'm going in circles.

I used to, but I lost it during my last format. Apparently there were at least 2 versions of the commercial, a fairly long one and a (couple?) shorter ones. I haven't seen the long one...
