So, let's see how badly the Vikings got slaughtered against the Patriots... ooh... ouch... (for the record I didn't actually see the game because anyone with two functioning brain cells knew how it would end.)

It's interesting because I'm just starting to try and follow football but the Vikings apparently just signed some top guy from their practice squad (Joe Barnyard) to try and help make up for the loss of Peterson who, based on what I see with PR statements and such, may not last much longer in purple and gold.

But to my understanding some people are upset that this Cassel guy who, I guess is the second tier QB, was playing today over Bridgewater which I find understandable given that there's no sense sending your best guy to the slaughter when you can just send the guy nobody cares about instead.

Nice comeback win for the Pack!! I'm still very uneasy about the defense though. Their inability to generate pressure is bothering me.

The Browns aren't nearly as bad as a lot of people make them out to be. They probably would've won 8 or 9 games last year if Hoyer hadn't torn his ACL and forced them back to The Brandon Weeden Experience. And they're a better team this year than last at pretty much every position but WR, and with Josh Gordon's suspension getting reduced they'll be better there too for the last 6 games.

So I guess what I'm saying is, we'll see you in the Super Bowl.

Colts got robbed by a no-call penalty and a calling a penalty that did not exist (but it was still a good game). The Sunday night game between the Bears and 49ers was pretty impressive though, 49ers just love getting penalties (and throwing interceptions).

ESPN's NFL section is starting to look like a domestic abuse hotline. Now there's another player that's been deactivated. I wonder how many other players are going to get the same treatment this season. :P:

To be fair, I think putting a child on a leash is also child abuse, so probably many.

You must not have any kids.  My son actually preferred the leash because, then he didn't have to think about how far he could go and he could lead around if he really wanted to.

It would be nice to see the Packers win without the refs being terribad. Oh well, A win is a win. Always good to see us beat the bad news Bears!!

I used to think it was bad too, but my daughter liked it. And it's so your kids don't run off or turn around and walk into the street all the sudden. Your eyes can't be fixed on them 100% of the time, I imagine quite a few deaths have been prevented from putting a strap on a kid.

I'm just relieved that our piss poor run defense does not have to go against Adrian Peterson. The Packers have the worst run defense in the league. Which is actually pretty ironic since the reason they brought Dom Capers on a few years back was to fix that particular problem.

The 2015 NFL Draft will take place in Chicago. Last time it was there was 1964, the year the Browns won their last championship. Coincidence?

Full disclosure: I didn't even watch the game yesterday. I wasn't feeling well, woke up at one point where the Browns were down I think 28-13 in the third quarter, said **** it and went back to sleep, missing the biggest comeback in team history. Sorry, Ceric.

I was on the trip and only caught a little of the first and the half time report.  I was like alright our main QB is out for the rest of the game we won't be scoring any more points.  Just need to hold on.  Check in later 28 to 29... Really... In the news this morning our head coach is quoted as saying he's lost for words.

What really makes this hurt more for me is that historically speaking we've always had a lot of depth in the QB position where are Second was equivalent to a lot of peoples starters just nearing retirement.  Now we have nothing.
