Nothing can stop the mighty Brian Hoyer.
Except any team thats better then the Vikings considering he barely came up ahead in that matchup.

I don't think anyone would argue the Cincinnati Bengals aren't significantly better than the Vikings, and Hoyer was quite a bit more impressive against them today than he was in Minnesota.

My Saints vs. Miami. Both teams blew last season (especially the Saints). This year they are both 3-0. Should be an awesome game. Whomever can rush the passer better should win the game.

The Only game that I saw this weekend was the Patriots vs the Falcons.

I hate when a team opens up playing a 2 minutes style at the beginning of the game and totally abandon it during the mid game where they get creamed.  I you are going to open successfully with a 2 minute style then at least 1 series of plays each quarter should be that way.

Crazy win for the Seahawks yesterday.  The way things were going I was already preparing my "eh, every team loses games" rationalization to avoid losing faith in my team.  Frankly there was some damn luck to it as some stupid plays on Houston's part let the Hawks tie it and then win.  But at the very least the team didn't give up and thus could capitalize on Houston's mistakes.  I hope our offensive line heals up soon as being without three of our starters didn't go so well against players like Watt and Cushing.

Right now the team I fear the most is the Broncos.  I figure the Hawks can beat anyone in the NFC but what good does that do if we meet Denver in the Superbowl?

Well apparently there is one thing that can stop Brian Hoyer, and that's knee injuries. Oh well, those two weeks were fun while they lasted. Brandon Weeden can lose the last 12 games and then next year we'll be able to draft a new QB who will disappoint us.

EDIT: Okay, maybe Weeden can win one game.

Yeah, I know I keep bringing him up, but Peyton Manning is absolutely brilliant. Already set the record for most TD's in first 5 games in NFL history (and it's not halftime yet), and then ran in one of his own that absolutely no one saw happening. Ridiculous.

The only comparison I can draw for Broncos/Jags next week is 3DS v WiiU.

Are you allowed to forfeit in the NFL? They are giving away 2 free beers with all tickets in Jacksonville.

That ended up being a hell of a game, btw.

Denver got robbed last night with a few terrible calls late in the game, and the ridiculous "let's kill 32 seconds with intentional penalties on punts" fiasco at the end...

...and this Giants vs Vikings game has to go down as one of the all-time worst games ever. Eli did finally learn to slide just now though.

The prime time scheduling has been pretty abysmal for the part this season. I think there's only been a few good ones and they mostly involved the Broncos.

I'm sorry, JP. I saw Weeden live last week. Holy crap he is miserable. Receivers didn't help him out that much, but when you're off target that much, it's probably a shock when something actually comes near you.

To be fair, I don't think anyone expected the Vikings and Giants to be a combined 1-11 going into last night, nor for the Vikings to sign a quarterback and make him throw 53 passes ten days later. With Adrian Peterson conscious.

Yeah, but the Steelers had two primetime games in the first four weeks. That's more than most teams deserve, especially one that went 8-8 and didn't make the playoffs in the previous season.

Looking back at the schedule, the word "abysmal" may have been a little strong. There have been a few good ones. But overall, I've been inclined to just go to bed early.

Oh, I'm long past the point where I'm optimistic. Browns fans are now in the usual mid season position of speculating as to who the QB will be next year. Hoyer's wins probably played us out of the Bridgewater sweepstakes, but there are some other good draft options, and it's sounding like the Bears are planning to let Jay Cutler walk at the end of the year. He'd be an intriguing fit for the system Chud and Turner are trying to run.

So went to my first regular season Football game.  Glad I did and well it was a relatively horrible experience.  Football is sooo much better on TV its not even funny.  Not to much the Titans management needs to go to a season of the Predators.  They are much better at this.

How hard the Titan's bombed this made my Wife and son upset.  Now I have to deal with that and the lost.

For watching the game, TV offers a much better experience. But if you go to the game with buddies, booze it up, and watch your team win, then there's nothing like it.

Yeah, that would make it tough to fully enjoy the game unless you had great seats.

pretty nice day and I made sure to bring a coat if it switched.   Though we lost to Jacksonville talk about embarrassing.  And the injuries.  Terrible Ref calls.
