Yeah, Zero is "Girly Bot". "At least nobody thought YOU were a girl for the entire first game!"

BTW, Bisqwit already has a speedrun for the game up. Zero dies again. This is what, the fifth time? Oh, this time it's final! Okay, that's just the third time.

I thought the same thing Segali.

I liked the past 3 Zero games, but why not on DS?

Why on the DS? They're 2d, they don't need more buttons, they don't need a touchscreen or a second screen so why should they be on the DS?

I won't buy this one. I have completed only one level on Zero 3. I managed to beat a second one once but since my rating sucked (much damage, slow, 0% mission completion, damn "race that sub for the buttons" mission...) I dropped that attempt. Damn grades, sometimes I think I should just ignore them but that would mean missing out on the special moves... Doesn't help that you're not allowed to use those elves if you don't want your grade to suffer.

In this case, I think more buttons would help out alot... much like they did for the MegaMan X series. It'd be nice to have dash mapped to one of the face buttons... and not having to hit the pause screen to switch weapons.

And yeah man, you gotta ignore your grades on your first couple of run-throughs of the game or you won't have any fun at all.

Hm, I have dash mapped to a shoulder button and even remapped it in the X games I played after that. Pressing three face buttons at once is rather difficult. After all, I want to charge my weapon, dash around AND jump, that's kinda hard when all of them are face buttons. I rarely push B in the game, I have the sword mapped to R since the GBA button layout makes it nigh impossible to tap B while holding A. I wish I could charge both my primary and secondary weapon while retaining mobility but I guess that's just not possible. Why don't they let you remap the face buttons on the DS for GBA emulation??? ("Different register". Pah, bite me!)

If they were properly positioned, the GBA buttons would be sufficient for the game and probably any Megaman game ever made (maybe not legends).

I've been toying with the same idea. I think it'd be cool if developers made GBA games that have the option to make use of the DS extra buttons... and maybe slightly bigger screen. Imagine being able to play MMZ4 in fullscreen with SNES style controls. Nothing huge like dual or touch screen support... but just more buttons and pixels. Subtle features, similar to the idea of games like Mario & Luigi being optimized for the GameBoy Player.
