Well now ain't this a pickle? I was just on my way to change my vote (after having a well deserved donut break) to someone like Lucario, just to get at least one person with more than one vote. But if I do that, Lucario will probably turn around and vote for me, making another dumb ol' tie.

So I need some backup, here. Anyone else want to vote for Lucario? Or maybe Stogi? He hasn't checked in yet, and, as Silenced brutally taught me last game, that's mightily suspicious!

O'course, y'all could just vote for Silenced too. I'd be down with that. You just know he's some sort of bad guy. It's right there in his name! He wants you to be Silenced!

A Stogi that doesn't check in is often a role-less Stogi, but I'd give him time. It's only Day 1 and some people might not even know this started yet, like myself.


My vote for you is a simple comedic retaliation and I'm willing to shift to someone else. Considering Lucario had a less-than-fun experience last game I'm willing to give him a pass, at least for now. I'd also prefer to not immediately kill off Khush since there's no fun in that nonsense.

Though honestly, I haven't read the rules to this game out of spite for the host, so there may be something I'm missing but I'm just kind of winging it here.

Sorry I haven't been active here but today I worked out and afterwards I crashed and really only woke up again around 4:15 pm az time.  I will look through the thread and post my thoughts.

Most of the votes I am seeing are either retaliatory votes against each other or standing day one votes most players do.  Few really stand out as anything but.  There are a few though that stand out though. The going between Silenced and Fatty the hutt I think is an option. I am leaning more towards Silenced at this point.

Yes!!!! It only took two hours and change but I've finally got me an Ema Skye avatar!!



I realize now I shouldn't have voted for BeautifulShy. It just instantly gave away that I'm a townie. If I was mafia, I wouldn't have tried to make such a bold vote that could draw attention to myself and backfire but being a townie, I could have more of a devil-may-care attitude. Unfortunately, losing my is-he-isn-t-he usual mafia suspicion might be dangerous for my life in the game but considering my terrible internet connection limiting me to the game that may work in my favor so I guess we'll see.

Right now, there have been a lot of one off votes cast for all manner of players. I don't think the mafia would be getting too involved in that since it could immediately lead to a retaliatory vote against them and possible vote out like we see with the sudden Fatty and Silenced vote and now the potential Insanolord vote. However, Stogi has been on a hot streak for awhile in this game so maybe he's right. Most likely, the mafia is laying low right now or has thrown out a tradition vote like Mop it up's or Stevey's which won't draw much suspicion.

Thus, I will continue my heartless streak and vote against another player I had good success with a few games ago. Vote TOPHATANT123. He showed up to look active but is laying low.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. Forget everything you've seen on television and in the movies. There's not gonna be any last minute surprise witnesses. Nobody's gonna break down on the stand with a tearful confession. You're gonna be presented with a simple fact: I am innocent. You'll hear two explanations for why he is mafia: mine and Khushrenada's. It is up to you to sift through layer upon layer of truth until you determine for yourselves which version sounds the most true. There are certain points that I must prove to you. Point number one, I was... Am a brilliant lawyer, great lawyer. Point number two, I'm afflicted with a debilitating disease, and I made the understandable, the personal, the legal choice to keep the fact of my illness to myself. Point number three, the mafia discovered my illness, and ladies and gentlemen, the illness I am referring to is an illness of temper. Point number four, they panicked. And in their panic, they did what most of us would like to do with my illness, which is just get it, and everybody who has it, as far away from the rest of us as possible.
Now, the behavior of my employers may seem reasonable to you. It does to me. After all, ill-tempers makes for an obvious, blatant target. But no matter how you come to judge nickmitch and his partners in ethical, moral, and in human terms, the fact of the matter is, when they voted for me because I am curt, they broke the law.

Changing to vote TOPHATANT123 for a few reasons:

1) I buy the logic of replying to day 1 thread without some form of participation in voting dubious, as stated before.

2) Not a fan of a tie, and while I didn't see anything regarding tiebreaker rules in the sign-up thread, don't want anything to prevent the progression of this game.

3)  Not that I necessarily buy that Insanolord is innocent, but this is the most active he's been in a game lately that I can remember.  A silent game is a dead game for townies.
