Lego City Undercover - It's all about Frank Honey
« on: April 19, 2013, 06:14:25 AM »
This game is funny! I liked all the cameos at the police station.

Only thing I don't like so far is the long-long loadtimes. I guess they don't use streaming? But they hang a lampshade on that early on.

Also, I've had the audio on dialog cut out a few times. Good thing I had subtitles turned on.

I've enjoyed the game so far.  It's humor is cutesy, and something my wife and I can enjoy together while I play through the story.

I enjoy the missions quite a bit, but find exploring the actual city somewhat unrewarding.  I think part of the problem is that you can wreak havoc on the city without any consequences, whereas in GTA games when you cause too much trouble you'll have police coming after you.  I find myself missing some of the tension of escaping police or causing as much trouble as possible until I either get killed/arrested.

When I play any version of Grand Theft Auto, I find the missions to be uninteresting and sometimes frustrating, but take a lot of joy in driving around and exploring the world/making havoc.  I find the opposite true when playing Lego City: Undercover.

I'm really enjoying this game as well. But I have to be in the right mood for it, not because of its story/gameplay etc but because the load times just kill my patience!

Frank Honey is great and he should get his own DLC missions haha.

I also love this game. It seems as if replaying missions will be pointless until you have unlocked all costumes but I guess I can wait.

Lately, I've been alternating between this and Scarface on Wii. Nice contrast!

Frank Honey DLC missions would be amazing.

My favorite Wii U game without a doubt. Literally something to do on every street corner, something to find, the humor is great, and the presentation is top-notch.

I still haven't played this game, I'll wait until the game gets a discount.
